My wife and I love this podcast. Katie and Howard are a delightful pair. Their conversations are simply fun and wholesome. I love hearing about all of the recipes they explore.

I discovered the Shackbaggerly a couple weeks ago and have been listening on my commutes in the car. I love giggling along, learning about old recipes and listening to Katie and Howard's friendship! I love Howard's exclamations of "No!" and "Really?!" and Katie's "Good Lord." This podcast puts a smile on my face and warms my heart! Thank you!

I have been listening to this podcast since the very beginning! Howard and Katie are good friends who catch up with each other every week. Howard Middleton was a contestant on the Great British Bakeoff show, He and Katie discuss what they’ve done during the week and there is a lot of laughter because they are both bubbly and fun.They discuss recipes also. Give a listen you won’t regret it and you’ll probably end up binge-listening all the other episodes. You will feel like you’re part of their conversation. such a joyful part of every Friday for me.

I have been binging this wonderful podcast to get up to date. It is such a feel-good listen that I always look forward to. I love to hear Howard and Katie chat about their lives, experiences, friendship, and food! I recently discovered this podcast and am now making my way through the old episodes in quite a shackbaggerly fashion, which is to say, out of order. Katie and Howard make my stomach hurt from laughter with their stories and quips. They pretend to be clueless at times, but in a way that belies how smart they really are. As I listen, I feel like I’m inside a delightful play by a modern Oscar Wilde or with a group of truly exceptional friends. Thank you both so much for putting this podcast out into the world.

First off, let me say this review is a long time overdue, and extremely well-deserved, since I have been listening to this podcast this it’s beginning. I don’t know what took me so long to write this, because I have been telling everyone to tune in! 61 episodes thus far, and there isn’t one among them that doesn’t cause me to laugh out loud; the kind of belly-laughs that entirely brighten your day and eagerly long for more. Katie & Howard, longtime friends who met and continue to sometimes teach at cookery shows together, have that perfect knack of keeping you interested and amused, whether it be in their discussions of newly-discovered recipes from obscure cookbooks, or the hilarious tangents and anecdotes they share. It’s as if you’re listening to two dear friends’ hysterical conversations at say, a charming coffee shop, but somehow they make you feel as if you’re at their fun table; a part of their joyous time. Warm, welcoming and often hilarious, Shackbaggerly is that bright and intelligent bit of happiness I look forward to each week. Long may they continue! I couldn’t recommend them enough.
