As a continuation of our previous podcast, #BlackLivesMatter, we address the idea of looking at, and building awareness, of our own racism. We live within a system of racism that goes back since the earliest of times, since someone stood among another, a person of different skin tone. In today's podcast, we would like to give you a moment to think about what you feel, what you think about, when you address this topic. We know this can be hard to address, especially because your own background or personal experiences have driven you to think about feelings in a specific way. . . We challenge you to ask yourself why, and here, we want to look at the idea of white fragility and the importance of understanding humanity. You get to be scared, feel shame or even sadness, but the system creates anger, and empathy has come to a point that it forms fatigue for people of color, and empathy is humanity, and what these individuals are experiencing is clearly injustice. Also, the correct email to send feedback or responses is: [email protected]
