Sometimes unforgivably bad quality!
I want to love this podcast. The info being shared is SO useful and it’s amazing that the host is putting it out there for free but some of the episodes audio quality is so bad, I honestly can’t figure out why they even bothered uploading it. I just listened to the beginning of episode 360, where one of the panel members literally says something about how they’re *supposed* to be using the mics - but the audio quality is so bad (because she’s not actually speaking into a mic) that I actually have no idea what she says immediately after that. And this audio quality is unfortunately not a total outlier, based on my listening so far. My second star is because when an episode is intelligible, the content is pure gold - but I can’t give something this hard to listen to more than two stars.

Tons of info
I learn a lot every time I listen to this podcast. One of my favorites for the industry
Business RPG
Service Journalism for Tabletop RPG Creators
Jason has compiled a far-reaching and inclusive selection of seminars and panels from both well-known creatives and subject experts richly deserving of broader recognition. If you have any interest at all in independent RPG design, creation, marketing, and/or sales, this is a jaw-droppingly rich resource.
The fact that it’s received several troll reviews from the ‘Keep politics out of games’ losers tells you all you need to know about the good work this show is doing.

Alt-Left Views On RPGs
What they don't tell you is this is extreme liberal view points on how RPGs should be made and ran. for exsample. In one episode, they talked about how games should handle women "monthly problems". In another they spoke on how RPGs should never let any player play a bad guy becuase it might qutoe "trigger" someone. In another episode, they spoke about how male players should never over play female players and so on. you get the idea. Needles to say they inject politicals talking points and Alt-Left views into what should be a neutral zone. Gaming should be a area where everyone can come together and have fun, Not about worrying that my Darwf preist will trigger some Half-Orc Paladin becuase he complamented a lady's dress. (yes they have used exsamples like this and said they are problematic). I gave it a fair shake as i do all podcast, but after 10 episodes of all being the same, yeah it's not my type. now you know.

Wanted to rate better
There was some helpful info, enduring the political and social justice warriors was just way too annoying . Stopped listening after one podcast. Please keep your extreme political views out of our hobby.

Excellent and informative
This podcast is the gold standard to which all RPG podcasts are to be judged by. The speakers are informative, insightful and interesting. The only downside is the occasional audio issue where some recordings do not pick up on all the speakers voices. Aside from that this is an excellent podcast worth listening to for all designers and GMs. I wish there were more podcasts like this.
