WE ARE STRONGER LEARNING FROM EACH OTHER
Lisa Ducharme
My first Podcast was a reflection on 9/11/2020, because this year was the 19th Anniversary of 9/11. That made me really begin to think about why individuals who are military-connected make great leaders and business owners and decided to share this leadership series. We gathered military-connected leaders from across the United States and asked them to share their tips and strategies. WE ARE STRONGER LEARNING FROM EACH OTHER - We created this series because we are in a unique time in history, and military-connected leaders know how to move forward in a crisis.

Systems of Success in Business
Anita Eliason (https://www.msbdc.org/) provides tools for you to use in business.   Think about the hat analogy.  Going to a 5-star restaurant with a ball cap on or think about going to a baseball game with a Top Hat you would wear to an extremely formal wedding, they aren't the rights.  You have to have the right hat on for the right circumstance. We need to understand the number of hats we wear as small business owners.  There are 4 very distinctive hats: CEO – responsible for vision and mission – the big picture COO – responsible for day to day operation – everything we do between the product and service to the customer is the job of operations person. CFO – responsible for thinking about the loans, debts, our relationships with bankers, etc. It’s not about pumping out reports and putting it on the desk, it’s creating a few key metrics that make sense. CCO – responsible to create consistency of communication and message across all areas.
