Podcasts have increased in popularity exponentially over the last few years. Many people, including myself, see the value of podcasts in sharing and disseminating content, as well as another way to connect with the audience. But I will let you in on a little secret - I don’t edit my own podcasts anymore! In today’s episode, I am talking to my podcast manager Cait! She is a phenomenal woman and business owner, focusing on editing and managing podcasts from a number of different businesses and influencers. During our discussion, Cait shares her thoughts on finally leaving the corporate world for a job that fulfills her. She talks about finding a path that speaks to her interests in entrepreneurship, balancing home life with running a business, and what she tells herself when the going gets tough. My podcast quality has increased in quality just by using Cait’s services. It has freed up so much of my time that I can put effort into producing other higher-quality content. In this episode, we cover:
- Cait shares how she got into podcasting after being trained in clinical psychology, trying her hand at a few businesses, and finally finding a path that actually made sense to her
- Advice for her 25-year-old self and why she loves self-mastery
- Why your message matters and how to maximize your platform with a podcast
- Balancing home life with running a business and how it differs from the corporate world
- Why it matters to give yourself rest
- Showing up as your best self for your business
- Cait shares what she tells herself when the going gets tough
