PE is on of the most informative podcasts I have come across on Cannabis. Wayne delivers every week with engaging guests sharing educational information for cannabis consumers, advocates and also for those curious about Cannabis and how it may help them or a loved one.

I am currently navigation the cannabis market in Austin Texas attempting to launch my CPG line of animal biscuits. Having gone to several of Naturally Austin and SKU, the excellent incubator groups in Austin’s, presentations on CBD (THC is still not consumer available in Texas) I have noticed the well intended presentations have been “pop culture” at best. The experts have ranged from superficial to “hey kids let’s smoke weed under the big tree at lunchtime,” in their knowledge. Periodic Effects has done an excellent job in presenting science, relevant business and professional perspectives, while addressing the critical industry topics for those wanting to make a living, while brining this valuable medicinal product to the general public. I have encouraged everyone seriously interested in investigating the market in Central and South Texas to tune in and get caught up! I find this to be my favorite podcast regarding business and science of cannabis. I like Wayne's easy going voice, the questions he asks his guests and the helpful information I receive from each episode. It's hard breaking in to the cannabis market and people are tight with their industry secrets. I feel like this one place you can go to learn and avoid making big mistakes when it comes to navigating the world of canna business.

I listen to them all and lately it’s been ON FIRE!!! I’ve fallen in love with Emma Chasen who appears on several episodes talking about the science of cannabis. Wayne is a wonderful host who asks interesting questions of his guests. The Jared Misky episode was great as well talking about branding and marketing in this new industry. Highly recommended

I’ve listened to a few episodes. This is a really interesting podcast about both the science and business of cannabis. Initially, it was the science side that drew me to listen. Legalized recreational cannabis is a new thing to most of the country and information about how cannabis works inside the body is endlessly fascinating. The guests talk about the endocannabid system, the differences between delivery methods, and really talked through how different cannabid profiles produce different results. The other side of podcast has also been interesting: a lot of that has focused on the process of starting a business. This podcast is based Oregon which has been open to the recreational market longer than other states. Since cannabis is still listed on Schedule 1, starting a business is still extremely risky. I haven’t heard too much discussion about banking and finance, but I expect that might come. The variety of people who decide to start a cannabis business shouldn’t be surprising, but I do think that as people become more open about their (personal and safe) use of cannabis, it will really do wonders to change the image of the typical user.

He gives super great information! I love the science ones in particular, very insightful and valuable education to spread. All the guests have been entertaining and have shared honestly about their businesses and given very useful tidbits. The Emma Chasen episodes have been my favorites so far, I’ve listened to them a couple time to relearn the shared info. PEACE

Wayne has been providing so much great info with this podcast! I’ve listened to many of them several times. We are opening a small business and the interviews are extremely relevant and Wayne is a great interviewer.

I am a plant science grad student from a non-legalized state, and I have found podcasts to be a great source of industry info. Wayne does a great job of projecting the science of cannabis, giving insight into the industry, and promoting opportunities for the listeners of the podcast. Periodic effects is definitely my favorite cannabis podcast I've come across.
