Words to feelings
I very much appreciate how open and honest this podcast is. Even though I live in the USA the struggles of actually getting help and very similar.

Worth the listen!
This gives the listener a new insight into the struggle to keep going when hope is lost. Thank you for your commitment to bring this honest look inside your heart and your brain.

not for everyone
may be un relatable if you’re truly in the depths, if you’re so deep, far beyond sad or hopeless, but truly at the bottom. i tried, but from the first moments, to listen to someone with social support, with a partner, with the where-with-all to record and make a podcast reflects a self value, hope, plan, goal, and not only mental but physical health and ability to function far above the depths of disability or true suicidal deliberations, above the trauma and incapacitating nature of true depression, that it felt performative, insincere. While it may have been a very real experience, for folks that have experienced extremely bad things or who are disabled by depression, episode 1 starting off with an intimate conversation with a supportive partner sets it apart as entertainment, which it is. SO, this review is just for those who also felt interested but disappointed by it, or who have ever been frustrated by people thinking their sadness is like your depression, their loneliness is like your isolation, i see you, and in that sense, you’re not alone ❤️ this review is also for folks trying to understand what someone depressed is going through, like everything, there are shades of gray before the dark and i just wanted to honor and acknowledge this landed very different than the description, for me, and, like everything, the piece isn’t representative of the whole. ✌️❤️

Not my cup of tea
Very raw, honest, and at times engaging, I found this to be a little slow. I also wasn’t crazy about all of the music in the podcast. But I appreciate that she was vulnerable enough to let us hear her work.

You’re fascinating. When I started the first episode I didn’t know what to expect. You’re speaking to me. Thank you for that.

Honor, you are an inspiration!
This is the most captivating and inspiring podcast I’ve ever heard, and I’ve listened to thousands over the years. Honor, your brutal honesty mixed with the sense of humor you’ve managed to keep is beautiful. Your writing makes your story so immersive, I feel like I journeyed with you. I’m listening to this a second time through, and I’m sure I’ll walk through it again. Honor, you are gifted.

Sorry
I wanted to like this, but, it’s just not my bag. The songs, the ukulele. Too long.

Amazing!
My son died from depression and this podcast helped me feel less alone. She tells her story so perfectly and describes how difficult it is to get the help that so many desperately need. Thank you for your transparency and for putting yourself out there. I love this podcast.

Thank you 💜
Thank you for being the voice for those of us who are unable to effectively communicate the everyday struggle we have with our minds. You’ve been the first person that has made me not feel alone. I’ve always thought that we suffer sometimes so we can grow strong in certain areas and use that strength to help others.
