#MUSiPOLiTiX EPiSODE #17 hosts Dan Spiffy Neuman & Michael Bland, guest Jazmin Koenig from #MUSiPOLiTiX

In our second episode, Michael and Dan spoke with protesters and organizers who were among the first to hit the streets when #GeorgeFloyd was murdered. One of those guests was Jazmin Elaine Koenig. We will be talking about what has taken place in Minneapolis since the protests, what has changed, what still needs to change, and how the protests effected the outcome.

Co-host Dan Spiffy Neuman is a guitarist, organist, minister, and musical director from Madison WI. Dan was raised and mentored by activists and civil rights leaders, and does not know how to shut up about the issues he cares about.

Co-host Michael Bland was Prince's drummer from 1989 on (perhaps best known for the iconic Diamonds and Pearls drum solo) and has been a member of Soul Asylum for 15 years. He toured or did session work with Chaka Khan, Maxwell, The Jonas Brothers/Nick Jonas, Mandy Moore, Demi Lovato, George Benson, and many many others. He is also a loud voice for social and political issues in Minneapolis.
