"Mother Wounds"
Are you familiar with mother wounds? According to the dictionary, a mother wound is simply pain associated with a person's relationship with their mother. Today, I am speaking with Brittney Scott about mother wounds! Mrs Scott is a licensed therapist and mother daughter coach with a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling. Using her expertise and experience as a licensed therapist, she helps women heal their relationships with their mother or heal from painful dynamics in the mother daughter relationship. As the eldest daughter and mother of a daughter, she takes her lived experience and knowledge of how women relate to each other to help them to break cycles unique to their specific lineage. Mrs Scott believes that when women know how to use their voice, they can get their needs met in a healthy and successful way. --- DISCLAIMER: This podcast is for informational purposes only and is not equivalent to individual therapy.
