In March of 1982, Alpine Meadows ski resort near Lake Tahoe was experiencing the blizzard of the century. Ski Patrol members were bombing the hill, blind firing in whiteout conditions to prevent a massive buildup. However, when a wall of ice hit the ski terminal building at the base of the mountain, everyone asked how could this happen? Who was buried beneath? Is anyone still alive underneath the snow?
