Perhaps the most useful invention in the 20th century didn’t come from a famous scientist but, maybe, a guy in his garage. Stanley Meyer claimed to have constructed the first engine that ran solely on water, and even said that it could get you from New York to LA with only 22 gallons. However, Stanley mysteriously dies while at lunch with investors, saying with his last words, “They poisoned me!” Now, over 20 years later, the question remains: Was Stanley Meyer killed for threatening the oil industry? How realistic was his invention? And where is the water car now?
