#9 James Schramko - Making Time for Your Plan, Not Someone Else's
James Schramko is the CEO of SuperFastBusiness. He helps entrepreneurs grow their business and profits as well as getting to enjoy their lives along the way. Many entrepreneurs get caught up and wrapped in their business they often forget the reason they started was to do what they enjoy and work on their own hours. Along with SuperFastBusiness, James is also the author of the book “Work Less, Make More” which is loaded with information he provides his clients to make your business more effective. James has helped over 3,000 entrepreneurs double or triple their revenue AND get to spend more time outside of their business with their families, friends or hobbies they love.  In this episode we also talk about making the most of your time and not letting other peoples agenda take you away from yours. James uses a quote he came across which says "If you don't make a plan, you'll eventually fit into somebody else's". Do you have a plan for your time, business, etc.? That quote definitely woke me up to where I'm spending my time. Are you fitting into Facebook, Twitter, Netflix or another platforms plan? It might be time to create your plan and set time aside for yourself. Enjoy this episode with James Schramko! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/mentormepod/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/mentormepod/support

#8 Robin Dreeke: Former FBI Agent on How to Build Trust and Strong Relationships
The Mentor I got to have a conversation with is Robin Dreeke. Robin spent 4 years in the U.S. Naval Academy to get his Bachelor of Science in political science. Following that, Robin spent 21 + years as an FBI Special Agent and Head of Counter Intelligence Behavioral Analysis Program and recently retired from the FBI in 2018. To put that in English for you… Robin recruited spies in the FBI. And to recruit spies, he needed to build an extremely high level of trust with his recruits. Robin is also the founder & CEO of People Formula where he works with large & small companies to help them get better and grow throughout all aspects of their business. Robin is also the author of three books all related to learning how to study human behavior. His first book, called “It’s Not All About Me: The Top Ten Techniques for Building Quick Rapport with Anyone”. In 2017 he launched his second book called “The Code of Trust: An American Counterintelligence Expert’s Five Rules to Lead & Succeed” And most recently in 2020 he launched his newest book titled “Sizing People Up: A Veteran FBI Agent’s User Manual for Behavior Prediction. All of these books are available on Amazon and if you want to go to Robin’s website directly go to peopleformula.com. #6 Ryan Walsh: CEO of Valqari on Vision & Teamwork
I had the pleasure of sitting down and talking with Ryan Walsh, CEO of Valqari. If you haven't heard of Valqari yet, you will in the near future. As technology advances, the idea of drone delivery becomes much more realistic... and Ryan believes we will begin to see drone deliveries in the next 12-18 months.   Now Valqari is in the drone industry, but they don't make drones. They make Smart Drone Delivery Mailboxes that help create a safe space for drone deliveries to occur. In the next five years, it seems that Valqari will be a huge name in this space.   Right out of highschool Ryan jumped into the military. He didn't want his career to have the same experiences as everyone else. While in the military, Ryan served 3 tours in Iraq & Afghanistan before returning home and beginning his post-military career which eventually led him to starting Valqari.  Enjoy. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/mentormepod/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/mentormepod/support

#5 Mark Timm: The Importance of a Mentorship for Business and Life
I had the pleasure of speaking with family man, businessman and author, Mark Timm. Mark’s business interest started at a young age, where he found himself under the wing of the world famous speaker, salesman and author, Zig Ziglar. Zig Ziglar is a legend in the sales space and has mentored and taught thousands of people through his speaking engagements. Mark eventually took much of the knowledge he gained from Zig & other mentors and started his own business in his late 20’s. Since then, Mark has owned & sold over 12 different businesses and more recently he became an author of the book Mentor to Millions: Secrets of Success in Business, Relationships, and Beyond which he co-authored with Kevin Harringon, one of the original sharks on the ABC show SharkTank. Mark talks about the importance of being confident in who you are, what you know and being fine with what you don't. Being able to ask questions and ask for help is a major topic Mark hits on and he encourages all people to find a mentor who is a life long learner. That way you are learning from people who are always learning. I really hope this encourages you to reach out to people to mentor you in your life. It definitely encouraged me to do so.
