Good
Both are a funny and smart and the info is actually useful if you know what are you looking for.

Get to the point?
I would like to hear some information that could be useful, not an overgrown 6th grader laugh at himself over and over again.
The other host is trying.

This show is great! They provide interesting information and it’s entertaining!!

Foul language = unsubscribing
I would have loved to continue listening to these informative but entertaining discussions but the foul language and dirty humor were an absolute turn off for me.

Thanks for the education! And dad jokes!

Medical Stuff
Very educational. But I had a hard time w the coughing & random hacking in episode #2 that I actually had to turn it off. Those guys r soo knowledgeable & funny but there didn’t appear like any attempt was made to controle or stifel those juicy coughs. I guess I expected more professional etiquette from such experienced paramedics .

Hilarious
Discovered this podcast on Spotify almost a year ago, and I officially cant start my day without hearing these two hooligans. Perfect balance of humor and fact, however not for those that are easily offended. Im still making my way through the older episodes, but I highly recommend for those who love to learn about medicine as a pastime and enjoy a good laugh every now and then. Ps dont depend on this podcast as a medical textbook. (Ps ps I totally envision rhet and link every time i hear their voices)

Best podcast
I love how they share their experience In the medical funny stories and I like how they get off topic and also educate

Hilarious and educated
They seem to have found the heavenly sweet spot of actually having interesting topics and packing it full of jokes and puns. It’s the best to listen to while studying or writing papers.

Can relate
This podcast brings me back to when I was in the field. Thank you guys.
I was 27 years in the field, now medically retired with PPMS(form of Multiple Sclerosis).
I can relate with your ptsd podcast.
I’m so much on the same page with you! You guys remind me of the mentors I use to have!
This gives me the touch I need! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Keep up the beautiful work!

Awesome
First time I ever met mark was at work, I was introduced by trying to get him supplies for shift and he accidentally closed the driver door on my head. (“accidentally”)
I remember chris from the first time he ever explained what docking was to me.😂😂 Love these guys and always find something new to learn, or laugh at when listening.

Fun infotainment

IT WORKED FOR ME!
Ah. You're one of those people. The "play it safe" type. You like to read the reviews before plunging into something new. You want to know what you're getting into beforehand. Like, if the restaurant isn't on Yelp or doesn't have high enough reviews you ain't eating there, amirite? You're the guy that if you went to the doctor for erectile dysfunction problems, you would go out of your way to ask if your heart was, in fact, healthy enough for sex before taking Cialis because the commercial said to and goddammit you're going to play it safe and be sure. There's nothing wrong with some caution.
So allow me to assure you. This podcast is exactly what you need! Relax and let the soothing sounds of Chris and Mark's voice wash over you. The two podcast hosts are entertaining, knowledgable, and put on fun-filled episodes with multiple humorous digressions that make the facts they deliver so much more digestible. There are a wide assortment of medical topics such as organ donation, execution methods, types of shock, hysteria, and more! Listening to them delve deep into those topics WILL cure you, not only of your ED (there's an episode for that!) but also of your anal-retentive need to see that random internet people also support your decisions. It worked for me! Yes folks, you heard it here first! This podcast will not just cure your penis, it will also educate you! No matter your background, you will soon be able to walk into rooms with the undeserved confidence of a heterosexual white man. So what are you waiting for, quit reading this and download some episodes!

Bad jokes
Clicked off after a weird, gross joke about consent on the traumatic brain injury episode.

Medical entertainment
I used to work w/ Chris at a volunteer fire department and always enjoyed his sense of humor. Now I enjoy refreshing my medical knowledge and laughing at the same time. Thanks for your entertainment! -The Boyd’s

Making education fun!
Chris & Mark keep the listeners attention by balancing sound medical information and humor. The addition of real stories from their experiences help to solidify these various conditions. Love them!

Perfect Balance
These guy balance a little fun with information perfectly to keep you interested and it doesn’t end up with the Monotone most other medical podcasts do. I see a lot of reviews getting mad that they joke about stuff and those joyless individuals can have fun with that. This podcast is great!

This probably isn’t what you think it is.
Let me start off with saying that I love these guys and this podcast. I am a recent subscriber so I have not listened to all the casts, but I’ve binged MANY of them so I feel I can say a thing or two about this show.
If you’re looking for serious, formal-lesson-style discussions of medical topics, you’re probably going to be disappointed.
If you’re looking to get information about a particular condition along the lines of what doctors do, you’re also probably going to be disappointed.
These guys are EMTs. They know a LOT. They are not doctors. They never claim that they are. And even if they were, doctors don’t know everything and are not perfect or infallible either. These are two very good friends in a medical field dealing with a very wide ranging array of medical emergencies talking about what they have experienced and what they know from the EMT point of view. Being good friends and very smart people who handle high stress situations regularly, they tend to joke around and go off topic. I don’t mind that at all! I love it! I have already learned A TON from listening to the show. I also have an even greater respect for first responders after listening to these guys (and honestly, it was pretty dang high to begin with).
So, if you’re looking for a verbal textbook or are looking for expertise on a particular specific thing, this podcast probably isn’t what you’re expecting. If, however, you like to learn in a relaxed fashion and/or want to hear what it’s like to be an EMT, you’ll love this podcast and I HIGHLY recommend this show.

I freaking love these guys ❤️

Credibility low
Sorry but when I heard the one guy (deeper voice) pronounce OB/GYN “OB-gin”, they lost all credibility. At least he did. The other guy seems more knowledgeable.

Seizures
As a seizure patient myself, I always try to research and learn more about how I can find new information that will help me discover the cause of my seizures that I had to deal with for over 30 years and unfortunately my doctors and every test I have done can not detect what triggers this type of seizure. Listening to your show, most of the information I already knew but it is always good to refresh your mind in case I have overlooked something. I appreciate that you take time to talk about different problems and sickness, my only suggestion would be is to please cut down on joking around when you are talking about sickness that may offend or discourage people to listen. Because our main reason why we listen to this kind of show is to gain knowledge and not be distracted by jokes that may or may not relate to the subject. Thank you!

If you don’t like jokes it’s not for you
Absolutely LOVE this podcast! Covers a wide range of medical topics going into enough detail to keep it interesting, but not so much that I feel like I might as well be reading a textbook.
The side stories and joking banter make it conversational and funny. That being said, they are joking around talking about medical topic, some of which are very serious, so if you’re easily offended this is not the podcast for you. The best part is that they already know that, and just keep keeping on with it!
I would recommend giving it a listen! I don’t love every episode, but that’s because I’m not interested in everything medical.

Not for people that know science
This is a great podcast for those that know nothing about science. As these guys are just the average people talking about science. They probably run cnn or fox’s science section tbh

The Postpartum Depression episode was terrible.
Joking about postpartum depression is certainly a new low. Anyone who has experienced postpartum mood disorders can tell you that it's NOT a laughing matter. You're contributing to the stigma women carry about their mental health by minimizing the severity of this life-altering disease. Please re-edit the podcast of pull it down.

Great podcast!
I disagree with many of the comments in other reviews, I like the side tangents because these guys are funny, have a great rapport and give good solid information in an easy-to-digest way. Definitely recommend!

Amazing podcast funny and informative
Awesome podcast to listen to for nursing/paramedic students if you are looking for a informative yet funny review of your material.

Half Hearted
The discussion on seizures was painful to listen to — I was hoping for some thoughtful insight. It was half-hearted at best, and a disservice to such a serious and confounding topic.

Fantastic podcast, informative and hilarious.
Give it a listen! You will get hooked.

I love them
I found this podcast at random when I was searching for medical themed podcasts on IHeartRadio. I began with the Liver podcast that was posted a few weeks ago and I’m almost finished binging their whole show. They have great energy with each other and tell the best stories. I love learning from them and hope the continue to make podcasts
Uhhhhh hi
Fantastic podcast.
I’m a paramedic student and this is by far my favorite. It is educational and funny at the same time. They find a way to take morbidity and make it educational and humerus. Thanks guys for the hard and time consuming work.

In love! ❤️
You both rock! I found your podcast on Spotify and I have fell in love. Since I have started at the beginning, I get to listen to you everyday. Keep the episodes coming. #tigerscience 🤣

Sidetracks and unnecessary cursing.
Interesting material, but not very dense with information since the guys spend a lot of time making jokes. In addition, I can’t listen while doing the dishes or in the car with my kids because of the cursing, which doesn’t really serve a purpose. I’m not opposed to it, but there’s other podcasts that I can listen to in all circumstances.

Love it
Some people are saying they don’t like the side tracks or whatever but honestly, that’s why I listen. Medical stuff is supposed to be light for the most part and if it were too serious it would be boring. With this podcast you can get humor and education.

Fantastic
Nursing student here! I listen to on my commute to school. You guys make study for pathophysiology a breeze. Keep it up!

I really like the review of anatomy and the discussion topics but all the side talk is annoying. It almost makes me want to turn it off. Please just get to the point and talk about the topic!!!

Interesting
You guys pick great subjects to dive into, would like listening to your podcast more if there was less silly banter. I find myself skipping to get through it. Plus, it takes several minutes into every episode before for you guys to get started, easy to lose interest.

Fun and educational
This podcast is a great bridge from EMT to paramedic. It also has fundamental reminders of importnat issues that are come across frequently along with those oddball calls you might encounter. Quality infotainment.
Paramedic!
Great Podcast
Off to a good start, a variety of topics delivered in an interesting "conversational" style that is both easy and fun to listen to. Great for people who have medical experience and those who want to learn more.
Best of all, I'm told, if you listen to all of the episodes backwards you'll learn where Mark buried the gold he stole during the great flood of '85.
5/5, would listen to backwards and then dig holes in the middle of the forest while intoxicated.
