Hey, friends! Welcome to episode #2 with my friend Beth Lambert from Epidemic Answers. This might be one of those podcasts that you're going to listen to, and we might not agree on everything, and that's okay. I know before I had a child with chronic illness, I thought differently. It’s been a journey to come to my current understanding of these topics. We'll cover topics that may be new to you, but we’ll do it safely. Let’s lay them out on the table and take the time to look at them together as a community. We may agree or disagree on some topics, but in my opinion, that's how we move forward. That’s how we can help ourselves and our children and communities heal and have better health outcomes.
Settle into your seat, take a deep breath, and know we will get through this together.
Today’s guest is Beth Lambert, the executive director of Documenting Hope. She's an author, educator, and former healthcare consultant who has monitored and documented the escalating rates of chronic childhood conditions for over a decade. Her first book, A Compromised Generation, thoroughly analyzes the origins of this modern health crisis, and we’re so excited for the knowledge she will share in parts 1 and 2 of this interview.
