Connect with Amie On InstagramWe are talking about a topic that's been on my mind lately: being brave on social media. As someone who's always trying to present the best image, I recently found myself feeling the pressure to constantly maintain this polished facade. I realized that this wasn't doing me any favors, so I made the bold move to unfollow everyone and take a much-needed break from social media. But here's the thing: I didn't just unplug to escape the chaos; I did it to rediscover the power of authenticity. When I sat down with my dear friend and guest, Brenda Johnson, we had a heart-to-heart about the importance of showing up as our true selves on social media without succumbing to the need to appear perfect all the time.Brenda has a way of cutting through the noise and getting to the heart of what really matters. We discussed the negative energy that can come from overly curated content and the detrimental effects of feeling the need to constantly "finish strong."We also debunked the myth of passive income in marketing, and Brenda highlighted the effort and action it truly takes to make an impact. We both agreed on the value of being passionate about our interests and the importance of sharing those passions authentically on social media. We dove deep into mindset, beliefs, and the power of positive language in influencing our subconscious. Brenda even challenged my old mindset of undervaluing myself, and it's been a game changer!I'm excited to put into practice everything I've learned from Brenda. So, here's to being brave, showing up authentically, and embracing the magic of life.Connect with BrendaInstagram @_brendajohnstonTIkTok https://www.tiktok.com/@brenda.johnstonhttps://www.brenda-johnston.com/links

Connect with Amie On InstagramYou know, I spend most of my days talking to little ones, and I started worrying that my grown-up conversations might sound off. But then I realized that being relatable is key. So, I'm keeping it real, simplifying the lingo, and sharing my authentic self with all of you. Because at the end of the day, that's what it's all about, right? This episode is a heart-to-heart with my awesome friend Danny J, about our fears and insecurities, and let me tell you, it was so uplifting. We chatted about how long we have been in the social media game (did you know MySpace is 20 years old), and you know what? We're both embracing our experiences and using them to empower others.Speaking of growth, we dug deep into some cringeworthy moments from our early days on social media. It's wild to see how much we've evolved! And let's not forget the rollercoaster of emotions that come with being trolled or dealing with criticism. It's a learning curve, but we're in it together, and we're learning to shake it off and focus on our message.I also had a lightbulb moment about showcasing more of myself beyond my photography work. It's all part of the journey, right? It's all about finding those little nuggets that make the magic happen. So, here's to embracing our insecurities, staying true to ourselves, and growing together. Thanks for tuning in, and remember, you're never alone on this wild ride!Connect with Danny J on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dannyjdotcom/https://www.dannyj.com/

I'm here to show you my steps for creating content without all that unnecessary stress. Here's the thing: sometimes, I'm a "do as I say, not as I do" kind of gal. I've helped clients map out a whole month's worth of content in just a day. But let me be real: it took a lot of prep. I was knee-deep in Canva the day before, making graphics and preparing the material. Honestly, if you're not using Canva for stagnant posts, what are you even doing? It's a lifesaver!I've learned to take the pressure off by creating just one week's worth of content at a time. I don't want to overwhelm myself, and I don't want you to either. If I'm not feeling the vibe for a reel, it's just not happening. But when I'm in the zone, you bet I'll bust out 10 reels in no time. It's all about preparation and being in the right headspace. So, let's take it easy, shall we? Don't rush to create 30 days of content in a day. Break it down into little baby steps. Research, create, plan, and hey presto, 30 days of content are sorted without unnecessary stress. You got this! Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go find more coffee.Connect with Amie on the GRAM @the_brandographer

Hang out with Amie on the GRAM @the_brandographer This morning, as I was fixing myself a cup of coffee, a lightbulb moment hit me. Have you ever wondered, as a brand on Instagram, whether you should keep it all about your work or mix in a bit of your personal life? It's been on my mind lately.I'm all for showcasing expertise, but it's just as important to share the real you with those unique ingredients that make you, well, you!I remember this brainstorming technique from 3rd grade. Miss Woodward taught us to create a nucleus on the whiteboard and build from there. As a photographer, my Instagram revolves around my craft, but I also sprinkle in bits of my personal life. My audience connects better when I'm the expert, yet still authentically myself. It's like adding a sprinkle of love to your cooking. You know those special ingredients that make me stand out, and that's what my audience craves.Your audience wants the genuine you. Your hobbies, quirks, and passions. Trust me, they do. Building that know, like, and trust is key. If you're into coffee, share a recipe. Got a pet? People want to see them, getting a glimpse of your personality beyond the professional front. At the end of the day, standing out isn't about being the ultimate expert on your brand. It's about infusing your feed with those special ingredients that make you, well, uniquely you. And believe me, it makes a difference. When you start offering your audience something different, your engagement will soar. So, what are your special ingredients? How can you weave them into your feed? Take a few minutes today to ponder it, and trust me, your audience will love it. Oh, and drop by my Instagram to continue this chat!
