Nicely Done!
Body image and the gospel episode was well done. I’m 63 and gleaned from it. Thanks!
Number Two.
Admiration
These young people deserve the respect of peers and all those older. They clearly have a heart to leave His footprints in the sand as the certainly seek His guidance.
However, their immaturity and age bias does mar the discussion. In this case, they seem to not understand that the police had every legal right to utilize the no knock warrant and did so correctly. Tragic to have to learn the ramifications of such a warrant and more tragic that citizens were so desperate for protection it’s use was passed. As well, they totally diminished the destruction of homes, businesses, and lives as these RIOTS were approved by the same people crying foul by the police. These were not protests; they were riots and were allowed because of race all while other citizens could not congregate even in small groups at a church. These groups were terrorists with some literally shipped in and paid to be there. Like so many, these podcasters needed to do objective research.
What about the reason she was addicted to this loser boyfriend that kept her in harm’s way.
My heart remains heavy for a beautiful life cut short; but know the facts; don’t rely on what the mainstream media flushes into minds. And look through the lens of officers on such a beat.
This was NOT about race or overstepping bounds; it was about protecting an area from a thug that cared only for himself.

“like”
LTN is an interesting and well thought out podcast. I was intrigued by their new idea Things We Couldn’t Say so tuned in to the first episode. I gave it 10 minutes before I had to stop listening. The overuse of the word “like” was so prolific and distracting that I couldn’t get past that to hear what was actually being said. Hopefully as they get more comfortable with the format they will become aware of this issue and speak more clearly without the use of the “like” crutch.

Fantastic podcast
I love this podcast. It feels like I’m having a conversation with people about topics that matters so much to me. I especially love that they highlight important topics like gentrification even if they/we don’t have all the answers of how to fix the issue.

Excellent resource.
An excellent resource to find great advice, encouragement and learn so much. Each episode is beautifully delivered. I love the topics discussed, the music, the experts invited, the discussion that takes place. It has become one of my favorite podcasts to listen to. Give it a try! You won’t be disappointed.

Great balanced discussion
I absolutely love listening to this podcast. I specifically like that each topic is graciously discussed balancing the different perspectives that different people could have and that they keep in mind to refer to the word to see what the Bible says about the topic. Keep up the great work guys!

Some good information, not entirely honest and objective
While this podcast does do some good work by examining some of the evil rot in the evangelical church and culture, they lost me when they said John Piper is an honorable megachurch pastor. This was in the context of talking about the Evangelical Industrial Complex, specifically the Mark Driscoll scandals, and they inserted a caveat that not every evangelical business or megachurch pastor is corrupt. Which is true, they are not all corrupt. However, listing the names of some big names who endorsed Mark Driscoll and STILL ENDORSE Mark Driscoll, even after all the proof of his corruption, is beyond the pale. John Piper STILL endorses Mark Driscoll. John Piper's megachurch is under intense scrutiny for being highly controlling and using cult-like tactics to keep members in line. It's only a matter of time before more is uncovered about him, too. So, be very, very careful about who you hold up as an honorable "big name" in evangelicalism. We never know where the next Ravi or Driscoll will come from. But we know they are out there.

Current and relevant
Not sure how I got this podcast in my list of options but I randomly picked number 50 as my first listen and it was very impressive! Very timely to be addressing peoples anxiety around news soundbites and how easily we get misled. Thank you for your coverage on this topic of fake news and the encouragement to test like the Gideons what we’re reading.

The Enneagram has no place in Christianity
I love the way the show is adapting and reworking it’s vision more to discipleship. I think it promises a lot of great things for LTN. The issue I have is the inclusion of the enneagram. It’s completely unbiblical and originated from occultism. The enneagram is full of false teaching and Christians are dressing it up as something to be celebrated. I would encourage anyone reading this to take a deep dive into where the enneagram came from and it’s true purpose. It isn’t had to find it’s issues, and a simple source to start with is the Enneagram Institute’s page itself. Christians are not meant to toe the line with sin, we are to flee, and I encourage LTN and it’s listeners to do the same.

Shining a light on others
The podcast about chronic illness was so good at shining a light on things that are a part of the lives of a few I know. So helpful!

Great Stuff
If I could require every Christian to listen to this show I would in a heartbeat.

Solid, encouraging, & consistently challenging. Worth a listen as the LTN crew tackles issues through a Biblical perspective.

Content is good, but stop trying to be Freakonomics.
The content, stories and production are great. However I cringe throughout as the podcast tries very hard to be a poor man’s Freakonomics Podcast. I would be ok if they simply adapted the concept, but the narrator even tries to imitate Stephen Dubner’s voice inflections and it irks me every time. Keep up the good content and value, but stop trying so hard to be someone else.

Great podcast

A Great Resource to Navigate Hard Conversations
This podcast is so valuable to anybody wanting to tackle hot button topics with a Gospel lens. I love the way that they tell stories to illustrate their view in each episode. I couldn’t recommend this podcast more.

So glad I found this podcast!
They cover such relevant topics from a gospel-orientation, and the storytelling format is outstanding. I was so happy to discover a narrative-based style of journalism from a Christian perspective.

My positive first impression has waned
This is truly an incredible podcast. Well written, well produced, and great topics. I can’t wait to binge all the past episodes.
EDIT: I was pretty disappointed with the episode on the gospel and LGBTQ identities. I’ve realized that the podcast has a pretty strong bias to focus on stories that make their organization look good (when I first found this organization I didn’t realize it was connected to an organization.) Up to where I have listened they have also only showcased Southern Baptist churches as well which is a bummer, because it would be great to have more denominational diversity on their stories. Overall I felt that this episode did not do justice to the topic and I would never suggest that an LGBTQ friend of mine listen to it.

What we all need now
In a world of angry and polarizing media content, the LTN podcast offers nuance and grace while staying faithful to Scripture and the teachings of Jesus. The storytelling is smart and compelling. The topics are courageous and relevant. It’s one podcast that keeps me interested and always looking forward to the next one.

Best Christian Podcast.
The storytelling is beautiful. The conversation is nuanced. The empathy is apparent. The theology is sound. Grace & Truth, Justice & Mercy, Righteousness & Humility all co-exist together in an intimate space with a collage of human suffering and storytelling.

Refreshing, lots of nuisance, and encouraging
So thankful to have found this podcast, I have been sharing with my friends! The production is top notch! Thankful for a voice that digs into challenging topics and seems to walk the line of truth and grace. In a tumultuous year this podcast has encouraged my walk with Jesus and has been water to my weary soul, thank you.

Wow…. So refreshing
I found this podcast because Jamie Ivy (The Happy Hour) did a guest spot on The Gospel and Womenhood…and she posted the episode on her podcast or mentioned it- so I checked it out as well as the Enneacast which is also SO good. I feel as though I have found fresh air, food for thought, and great perspective. I’m so thankful :)

One of my favorites
Such a thoughtful and well-done podcast - the team does such a wonderful job tackling topics that many Christian podcasts/organizations shy away from but need to be discussed. Also, I wish I knew about their internship program years ago before I started working!

Episode #35
I appreciate that you all tackle (generally) polarizing topics with such truth and grace. Your conversations have influenced the way I carry out my Christian walk in my relationships, my ministry, and my career(an extension of my ministry).
Episode #35 was so necessary and timely. There is still so much to unpack...you have the opportunity to also address/include a black, female Christian police officer and get their point of view. I happen to know one and their experience is such a unique one, especially in the last 6 months.

Thoughtfulness for all
I love the insight I get from the LTN podcast into issues I care about, but often neglect, as a Christian. But I also love that the conversations are nuanced enough that I can share them and have conversations about them with my non believing friends.

Biblical Thinking on Nuanced Ministry
When I first saw this podcast I thought, “here’s some people who probably play fast and loose with biblical interpretation but I’ll here them anyway because truth belongs to Jesus” (kinda judgy of me right?)
I was wrong. They are faithful to the Bible and active ministers making a difference in their community. They serve as an inspiration for me in ministry now and in the future. Their stories will challenge and inspire you to love those around you more like Jesus as well as love Jesus more.

I love the honest and compassionate angle with which the LTN podcast addresses relevant issues. The intersection between the gospel and everyday brokenness is explained with truth and wisdom. So appreciative!

YES! SOOOOOO GOOD.
I listen to a few theology based podcasts that support incarnational living, but I think this is my new favorite podcast of all. The stories are inspiring me to live for the kingdom and they are so skillfully done. Just awesome!
