POV: you’re thirteen years old at your first retreat. This beautiful woman with perfect hair comes on stage. She shows you a picture of her gorgeous husband, and she starts telling you all about her story, their love story. You try to relate, but you have frizzy hair. You don’t look like her. You’ve never been asked out because you’re thirteen. Then you heard about being a woman of God, kind of.
