It's time to put yourself first 👇🏻If this sounds foreign to you then you're in the right place.
I used to feel so stuck between my dreams, myself and my family. Everything went before me, which brought anxiety, panic, burnout and overwhelm. A swirling mix of not giving anything to myself. Once I decided that something had to change, it did. AND it had nothing to do with what was going outside of me. I chose to lean into myself more and more. I learned practices, joined coaching programs and talked to a counselor. Yep, I invested in myself and started to learn about me and who I was. Did I stop having anxiety no, not right away, however I now after time can handle things way differently. Responding to what is happening around me more often than reacting. Being calmer in situations where I would normally freak out. I started to understand that when I overflowed my own cup, not just filled it, but overflowed it I could be happier and everyone else around in turn felt it too. Loving on yourself is a choice and it's super easy and costs nothing to start 👇🏻✨Decide to like yourself right now exactly as you are. ✨Pay attention to what you really think of yourself, some thoughts can be really sneaky. ✨Change those unkind thoughts to kinder ones and say “no thank you,” when the nasty ones show up.

Today I am speaking about how being more self aware will help you to stop band-aiding yourself when things feel hard.
I know my red flags when something else is really going on however that sneaky bitch in my head gets me sometimes.She says things like;"Oh it's okay if you have all that you know how to get back on track," for the 5th donut.."Watch one more episode this show is so good and it makes me feel happy," moving into the 3rd season at midnight..She sounds nice, but does that sound like someone who is looking out for my best interests, HELL NO!She's the one that wants to put a band-aid on an open, needs stitches, wound or broken bone. She would rather cover it up and ignore it with too much of something then leaning in and witnessing the issue.The truth, when you acknowledge the "problem" most of the time it will be released. Until you look it straight in the eye, which by the way she's terrified to do, she'll keep telling you to watch just one more episode.So what do we do?

I never realized how much I was holding myself back until I decided to grab fear by the hand and have her walk beside me.
Comforting your fear can allow you to move through it and give yourself compassion and grace.
When faced with a challenge I feel it's preparing you for something more. I am a woman who loves to grow and expand my awareness for this big beautiful life. So I choose to walk with fear in order to experience all that life has to offer and hopefully inspire others along the way.
I found I was literally not fully allowing myself to live life. A life where I cherish myself completely.
Here's what I mean;
👉🏻It's fear when aren't kind to yourself or others
👉🏻It's fear when you stay in the same cycles
👉🏻It's fear when you stay in the masculine energy or hustle, go go go
These things made me feel sad, not like myself and anxious alot of the time. Which meant I could snap easily, say no to alot and hold myself back tremendously.
Then step by step I started moving in the direction of what I wanted life to be. Who I wanted to be for myself and others. So I could feel whole while I am here.
I decided to focus on my values. The ones that allow me to feel grounded, safe and loved.
These values for me are love, courage and play.
How I leaned into this;
✨Deep love for self and others
✨The courage to speak and be seen
✨Fun and play moves all things with ease
Here I get to be whole, I get to be authentic, I get to be me.
After years of holding myself back with fear, I decided to walk beside her, grabbed her hand and said "Thank you for trying to keep me safe, but I promise I've got this."
This moved me and then opportunities, people and situations lead me to these values to perceive my life differently to choose growth and mastering them.
Stop letting fear stand in your way, let it walk beside you or tell it to sit in the back seat but it isn't allowed to make the decisions anymore. This is YOUR TIME!
