Space podcasts don't get better than this
A perfect blend of friendly enthusiasm and nerdy details made accessible. Listeners can keep up to date on the latest space developments and then take a deep dive into perennial topics in the expert interviews. The hosts are very well informed and bring out the best from their interviewees.

Best
This is my favorite podcast. Matt and Jamie give me the details about space while keeping it fun and interesting. The research, reporting and interviews are great! I love the impressions they do of various accents. It is always light hearted and fun, even from the opening of the podcast (later episodes) when they sing along with the intro music. As Jamie would say, “Total ledge!”

Had to drop.
Enjoyable but they get too political.

If you want to hear Pence, Trump, Or non AGWs in general get made fun of, this is your show! To be fair, there are those of us who don’t care for Trump’s big mouth, but appreciate how he’s enacted policies we do like. But climate change and the science behind it, or lack there of , is still undecided. There are many scientists who are not believers in AGW. It is not settled. But if you are, then you’ll like these 2 brits. They managed to roll their strong opinions about it into a talk about setting foot on the moon again. How? Pence made a comment about returning by 2024. That provided the jumping off point for their childish vitriol. Yeah, not for me.

These guys are the best out of all the space podcasts
I just wanted to say that I have listened to all the Martian, interplanetary, and space podcasts and these guys have the best blend of information, humor and entertainment. It’s great how they both interact with one another and giving flavor to the news and I really hope that they can do this full-time and get paid for it. If I had the money I would donate through patrion. Keep going guys, you are awesome! - Tim Verbunt-Littlefield (an australian who got married and moved to the US 😊)

Good banter and good space talk
As an American, I get such a kick out of listening to these Brits talk (very fluently!) about the American space program, as well as highlighting other international space goings-on. The interviews with David Baker are incredible, he's an encyclopedia. Long episodes but worth your time!

I discovered this podcast while planting a bunch of trees. It was the most fun I've ever had digging holes. Hilarious and full of fascinating space news and info. Cheers, Matt and Jamie!

Amazing
Found this podcast a few months ago, and haven’t missed an episode since! These two are amazing to listen to. Super informative on all things space past and present. While also managing to be funny at the same time. If you’ve been looking for a space podcast, look no further!

Whatever your story, you'll enjoy The Interplanetary Podcast
short story: Subscribe to this podcast immediately; you will love it. (my) long story: So I've been working on a three-volume series of mix tapes (yes, tapes) for the love of my life who unfortunately lives quite far away at the moment (not space, but pretty far). The overarching thematic element of these mixes involves the wonders of space, because we both wish we were astronauts, and because what's cooler than space exploration? So--I started listening to every space-related podcast I could find to pick up little snippets to use as interludes: deep-thoughts on mankind's role in the universe, first-hand audio clips of astronauts and scientists, etc. Outside of an audio sample of Sputnik's radio signal from last week's podcast, Matt and Jamie have given me nothing to use in my mixes (after all I can't have their easy-going charm put on my love mix tapes). -but- After listening to just about every space exploration / astrophysics podcast out there, I can tell you that The Interplanetary Podcast is the very best. My favorite morning of the week is the one that I get to hop on the train in my "whistle" (my dad's from East London), commute to work, and listen to this podcast. If you're even reading this review, then I'm 100% sure you will thoroughly enjoy listening to these two charming goofballs as they look back on some of mankind's most amazing achievements, honor some remarkable astronauts, and chat generally about space-related goings on. It's the only one of these podcasts I'll continue listening to regularly after the mix tapes are done, and in fact, it's the only podcast I "subscribe" to. You should too.

Fun and informative
I only recently found this podcast but I'm already loving it. Matt and Jamie are clearly passionate about all things space, and their conversational style is easy listening (not to mention laced with plenty of classic, dry British humor). A great listen that I highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn a little more about current events in the world of space.

Informative and Fun
So happy to have discovered this. These two guys are very enthusiastic, well-informed, and fun to listen to.

Great information presented in a funny way
These guys are really funny and make learning about a complex topic quite fun. The audio is kinda rough on the first ten or so podcasts, then it gets much better.
