Thank you
As a former member of the ward, I want to thank all of you for being so influential on my youth. Growing up with all of your kids and yourselves shaped who I am today. Even though I was absent when Nate was released it made me mad/sad/confused. The treatment that you all endured because of your differing opinions was not right. None of you deserved the judgement. Thank you for sharing these experiences. I hope all of you are doing well!

Beautiful vulnerability
I moved in around the corner from these three ladies when they were going through this situation and watched from the sidelines. I just want to say that I am so proud of them for coming forward and speaking their truth! I am honestly shocked that this happened and that they were treated so terribly. This should have never happened by people who claim to be followers of Jesus Christ. I have loved listening to their podcast! They have so much wisdom to share about things that are difficult to understand about our faith tradition. They have been able to articulate and put into words many of the feelings I’ve had that don’t sit right with my soul. Thank you so much for your vulnerability and the beautiful way you’ve shared your stories and insights with us.

All three of you are so amazing. I am at this stage in my life. I feel free and happy but… Confused on what’s next and how I navigate eventually sharing with family and friends that I have left the church. I have so much trauma and anger from the church leaders throughout my life that I need to deal with that somehow. I just love hearing your beautiful voices and connecting with you every Wednesday. You guys give so much insight and I feel so understood. Thank you thank you thank you. I can’t wait to, listen next week.

Eye opening
I was in the same ward with these women prior to all of this happening. I was close in age to all of their children and I’m so grateful I was able to know them. I can honestly say that all of these women are incredible. I have loved the podcast as I have also since left the church and have loved hearing their perspectives. It’s been so eye opening and having comfort in knowing that you are not alone in your faith transition. I truly believe the church teaches good thing but there are a lot of things they fall short on and I’m glad that is being brought to light. I’m so proud of them for speaking up and being honest and vulnerable!

Truth
This is a refreshing podcast from the perspective of women leaving the Mormon church. I love that these stories are based in intuition and not the “facts” of truth claims of the Mormon church. I was led out of the Church after hearing experiences of near death people. It just never made sense to me that God would only accept the “right special people”. Thank you so much for being vulnerable and sharing your stories with us!!

Vulnerable truth telling = connection, understanding & healing
I relate to so many things shared by these women and am truly grateful that they’re giving voice to feelings I wasn’t able to discuss or even fully access as a young girl. It has been healing. I also admire their ability to speak freely and truthfully about their more recent experiences, while generously expressing gratitude for what their early experiences afforded them. It’s fair and tactful, straight from the heart. Too many women feel like their suffering must be silent. We desperately need more of their authentic stories and perspectives. Excited for more.

Powerful ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I am so so glad these powerful women are telling their stories together! I am Kristen’s older sister and I am so proud of her. Her spiritual authority and sovereignty are undeniable. Thank you Michell, Leilani and Sis💚💚💚people need to know this happened to you. I share so much in all your stories in my own experience with the Mormon church.

An accurate portrayal of the ridiculous nature of Mormonism
I witnessed firsthand how Michell was treated by so called “Christians” in her congregation. It was despicable to say the least. No wonder most Christians don’t consider Mormons to be a part of their fold. The nasty, vindictive, downright evil spirited way some of these people behave makes me want to vomit. Kudos to Michell for having the courage to finally speak up and tell her story.

I like it, but struggling with their Donald Trump loyalty
I have enjoyed this podcast so far, but it’s hard for me to reconcile the fact that two of these women are loyal to Donald Trump, according to their Instagram accounts. In my mind, that seems opposite of being empathic, loving everyone for who they are, and kindness. This is not about politics, this is about a person who has openly said horrible things about women, who has done horrible things to women, and who has tried to divide people. As I’m listening to their lovely messages, I’m trying to understand how they can be supportive of him, but I just don’t get it.

Great podcast!
I love listening to the authenticity and vulnerability these women express. It’s so relatable and I admire the way they approach everything with love. It reminds me of all the ways I felt my intuition/higher self/the divine guide me out of the LDS church. I can’t wait for more episodes!!!

Insight
It’s a familiar journey for women, and one I share on the rugged and difficult path to finding and trusting an authentic, real self rather than one prescribed by culture, marriage, motherhood, or a religion. What do all the sacrifices mean if we lose our soul’s calling and feel we’ve irreparably lost ourselves in the process? Is there a balance? Help! Hearing the journeys of these three women makes me feel less alone, less afraid, less lost and more at peace. Waiting to feel the freedom I think these women are finding.

Amazing insights and entertaining stories
I’m blown away by the insights and unique perspectives that I’ve heard from Michelle and Kristen’s stories. I can’t wait for more. I think the greatest benefit I’ve had in listening is the realization that what we see on the outside isn’t always what is going on inside a person’s head; even people we know so well. I’ve heard many of these stories before…or so I thought until these episodes shared unique and authentic and vulnerable insights and perspectives! I’ve been blessed to be associated with these powerful women and of course, I’m even more blessed that I get to spend each new amazing day with best friend Kristen…who also happens to be my partner in marriage. So proud of you Kris!

Married to a medium
As the husband to the beautiful Michell Powers I want to share how proud I am of her as I know this was something very difficult for here to share. I spent years watching her cry over the ways she was treated in the Mormon church as she tried to do everything imaginable to fit in. Michell, whom for 24 years I have gratefully been able to call my wife, has a heart of pure gold. She is the sweetest, most honest and trustworthy person I know. She cares for everyone before herself. I watched her perform countless service hours to those in need at the most difficult times in their lives. On top of that she the best wife and mother I could ever ask for. Her wisdom (much has been taught from her angels) has created the most amazing life for me and our family. She deserves and is well qualified to speak on the topics within this podcast. In my own life I attribute all my personal successes to Michell believing in me and cheering me on. I cannot express how wonderful my life is with her in a few words here, but know I wake up every day with pure joy having her by my side, I go to bed talking for hours to Michell every night, we love being together and can’t stand being apart. We have worked hard to be able to have so much time for ourselves. But with all of that, we feel obligated to share our journey to literally 24/7 happiness In hopes that something in our story can help others find their own joy. To Kristen and Leilani, I couldn’t thank you enough for being a part of our lives. The tribe you created is so powerful. I want listeners to know they can trust and value your opinions. You have been through a lot and deserve the opportunity to share your story and what you have to share can change their lives. For family members who know Michell, many of whom are still Mormon. Michell is strong willed, she is the powerful spiritual leader in our family. Her decisions have been her own in respect to her faith expansion. From that and even a little to our surprise we are happier than we thought we could have ever been. The joy, love and community we have found has exceeded what we thought was possible. We value every experience we have had in the church, we also understand peace and joy is found in many new ways. We love all of you. Please respect our boundaries as we have already been through so much. We know what the church has to say, and it is finally her turn to speak up.
