The Swiss Armed Forces are poised to counter modern threats and dangers. Contemporary training is one of the requirements for this. Simulators provide an optimum augmentation to training on the real system. Apart from flight simulators these systems include various driving and tactics simulators for the armoured corps, operations and combat training facilities as well as the training villages for the rescue corps. With simulators it is possible to practise in a safe environment under almost real conditions – with greater intensity, but also in a way that saves time and spares resources.
