Promoting peace is one of the three missions of the Swiss Armed Forces stated in the Constitution. Currently, both male and female Swiss officers are serving in UN missions throughout the world. Once a year, Swiss and foreign officers voluntarily join SUNMOC, the Swiss UN Military Observer Course that is conducted in English. This video shows sections of their training and accompanies the officers during their final cross-border exercise.
