Learn Practical Biblical Perspective for Marketing, Sales, Bunisess Development, and Financial Literacy from Myron Golden.

  • Myron and his wife are business and life partners.
  • Derek's sister lost her brother to cancer at age 19.
  • Most people think the Bible is about religion, but it's really about a king, a kingdom, a royal family, and the colonization of a foreign land.
  • As a sovereign king, God knows what's best even if it doesn't feel good to us.
  • Derek has a friend who uses the Bible to justify his level of financial mediocrity.
  • Myron believes in getting our doctrine from the Bible instead of vice-versa.
  • There are three Bible study laws you must apply
  • Look at the first time the words wealth, lack, and rich are mentioned in the Bible.
  • Numbers have meaning in the Bible
  • There was gold in the Garden of Eden, and God tells us it's good.
  • Gold and wealth is good.
  • In the Hebrew alphabet, every letter has its own definition and every letter is also a number.
  • The gematria of the word "rich" adds up to the number eight.
  • Circling back to the idea that Derek's friend's who had the idea that money is evil is an idea that comes from the Devil himself
  • The lesson is that when you change what you say, it changes what you see.
  • There are so many amazing things around us to be grateful for, but many people choose to focus on the negative.
  • The situation doesn't have a definition until you give it one.
  • If God designed wealth to be good, why are some evil people rich and some good people broke?
  • The biggest lie we teach kids today when it comes to succeeding business, power, and confidence
  • School programs children that finishing a task is not important, don't specialize, and when the bell rings, switch to the next thing.
  • The college system is designed to get people so in debt that they will spend their lives doing what they hate in order to pay the bills.
  • School was originally designed to get you a factory job, but that doesn't apply in this day and age of entrepreneurship and software developers.
  • A confident person is someone who confides (trusts) in themselves.
  • "Expectation" means you can see clearly in the present, a future outcome.
  • To stop anxiety (stressing about the future), replace it with positive anticipation instead.
