He is the project director for Oslo for AI, a year-long project that will invite participants to co-design a new kind of constitutional process for the governance of AI. Michael is also the founder of System 3 Coaching, focused on helping leaders navigate the dynamics of ethical and technical complexity.
We discuss Michael’s views on the emergent intelligence of conversation and the ways Oslo for AI aims to create a forum for the important discussions we need to have about AI.

Eric Miller is the Director of the Ecological Footprint Initiative, a research, training, and analytics hub that produces the National Ecological Footprint and Biocapacity Accounts used around the world, plus fee-for-service work. The initiative is housed in the Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change at York University.
Eric has two undergraduate degrees, a BSc in Biology from Carleton University, a BA in Economics from McMaster, and an MES in Ecological Macroeconomics from York University.

Dr. Peter Victor is an economist who has worked on environmental issues for over 40 years as an academic, consultant and public servant. He was the first President of the Canadian Society for Ecological Economics and one of the founders of that discipline. From 1996 to 2002, Peter served as the Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Studies at York University in Toronto.
