Horses and Riding Podcast

Horses and Riding

Debbie Percy
Working with Lucinda Green's on line XC Academy in 2020 has reinforced my belief in the power of on line learning and podcasting as a valuable way to connect with ideas and with other people. In this podcast channel I share practical ways to get better control of your mind and its unhelpful habits! Low on jargon and at times contentious and provocative I aim to stimulate new thinking to help riders of all levels put the relationship with themselves and their horse joint first. Having a sense of humour and balanced perspective is key so if I loose either do get in touch and let me know! I hope like me, you'll enjoy solving puzzles and helping your horse do the same. Thanks for tuning in and dream big!
Goal Setting is like Marmite; love it or hate it!
In this 20 minute podcast I wanted to share with you some methods of setting goals to help you improve your riding and or relationship with your horse.  I include 7 reasons why setting goals is a good thing to do, and some rules to follow to get the most from the process.  I'm not wed to any one method of goal setting and use this opportunity to share with you different approaches I have used and continue to do so in my riding, my businesses and my life in general.   I hope you find something that resonates with you and that you'll give me a review or recommend this podcast to someone you think could benefit from it.   With thanks for listening in.  Debbie

Why on line learning helps us avoid being in a rut!
In this 10 minute podcast I will introduce some of the reasons why on line learning works for horse riders.  If you are seeking motivation, inspiration or help with confidence on line communities provide solutions.  In addition, I feature the Lucinda Green Cross Country on line Academy as an on line resource delivering great results for on line learning.  In short, if you are determined to be a good student find an on line course that offers both a community and a curriculum to follow at your own speed.    Why not have fun learning from the warmth of your lounge or snuggled up in bed this winter!  For more information about the Lucinda Green Academy go to her facebook page Lucinda Green XC Community.
