The gang is back and more hopeless and brazen than ever. HJ #76: Pro Sports Equinox NBA NFL Spectacular
We return just in time for the celebrated “pro sports equinox", that special sliver of the year when the big four pro sports leagues are all in action simultaneously. These last few weeks demonstrated some parity in the NFL, with all of the major contenders for the Superbowl suffering some puzzling losses. KC struggles in the high altitude of Denver. Was it Taylor Swift’s fault for not showing up? (Heresy!) The Niners are in the midst of a 3-game skid, and their bye week couldn’t come fast enough. With a puzzling loss to the Jets, a dismantling of Miami, and a squeaker over Washington, Philly needs to pick a lane. In baseball, chaos reigns as the World Series features a match-up of two wildcard teams. Texas looks to finish off Arizona to earn its first ever title, and Corey Seager seems on pace for his second World Series MVP. And, finally, the NBA season is off and running. Chef Curry is showing zero signs of aging, Wemby worked a little magic with a crazy 20-point rally to knock off Kevin Durant’s Suns this week, and the Harden experiment is finally over in Philly. -- 00:00: Theme Song & Intro 00:30: Joe is in a weird place with the pro sports equinox 06:45: Erik "Stone Cold Sports Recap Man" 09:15: James Harden Trade Grades 22:45: World Series Check-in: why is there no national juice for these games? 30:28: Sponsor Read: Couch Potato's Yellows 31:15: Unnecessary Bets of the Week: Picking the 14-team Exacto of NFL Playoff Teams 51:49: Crystal Ball –- Twitter: @highjinxsports Facebook: High Jinx Sports Show Inquiries/Suggestions/Anecdotes/Ideas: highjinxsports@gmail.com

High Jinx #72: NFL Good, Bad, Bets, & Crystal Ball
In this week’s World of Sports, Dan Campbell and the Fightin’ Lions bottle up  the Chiefs offense while Tua, Tyreek,  and the Dolphins of Miami go nuclear wasteland, leaving Patrick Mahomes with a wandering eye toward what could have been if his wide receivers weren’t the worst in the NFL, the Cowboys embarrass the Giants on national TV in a game that left even Daniel Jones’s family looking for cover, the 49ers look legit as can be as Brock Purdy continues to Brock Purdy, the Eagles escape with a mistake-filled close call of a win over the Patriots, the Los Angeles Rams dismantle Las Vegas’s 6 win expectations with a rough roughshodding of the Seahawks, the Packers prove there is life after Rodgers as they send the Bears into hibernation, while Jets fans ponder the meaning of life as they, too, must contemplate life after Aaron Rodgers, with his entire Jets career yielding a total of 4 plays and 1 incomplete pass. Plus, Deion Sanders possibly the greatest coach of all time, Jimbo Fisher predictions, and Ronald Acuna putting together one of the greatest seasons of all time. 00:00: Theme Song & SportsWorld in 60 seconds 2:00: NFL Good and Bad  15:40: Sponsor read: Gemma’s Ghosting Sucks Solution System  31:00: Unnecessary Bets of the Week 46:35: Crystal Ball  -- High Jinx #72 Twitter: @highjinxsports Facebook: High Jinx Sports Show Inquiries/Suggestions/Anecdotes/Ideas: highjinxsports@gmail.com
