What makes a bounty hunter’s job interesting? Rainy Robinson from the hit TV reality show Dog's Most Wanted on WGNA, Dog & Beth Fight 4 Their Lives on A&E, and Dog & Beth on the Hunt on CMT, speaks with me on this episode of Her Next Best Move about her journey to becoming a bail bonds agent and a bounty hunter after multiple trials and errors in different businesses, her experience on the popular reality show serving as the right-hand woman for Beth Chapman, and how she dealt with the pain of losing Beth to terminal cancer in 2019 – while the first installment of the series was in production. 

You sure know Rainy as the bounty hunter pursuing wanted fugitives on the Dog series, but do you know she only finished a high school diploma because the manicuring school she wanted to attend had a mandatory diploma requirement? Or that she’s owned a restaurant, a gas station, a body shop, and a nail salon in the past? Rainy has traveled through many paths before bail bonds and believes that if you want to pursue the profession, nothing stops you from doing that. 

And … if you've come across people who say the bounty hunter’s profession is for males? They’re lying. As someone who’s been in the field for considerably long, Rainy would tell you there are as many males and females in there. The gender or status myth shouldn’t stop you from pursuing your desired path.

Aside from the technical tips to becoming a successful bounty hunter, Rainy also leaves you with impactful advice for career success. She says that every single one of us is influential and has the power to change someone's day – even if it’s with just one word. Tap into your own power to change your and others’ lives. Be your own inspiration.
