Afraid of taking the next step toward your dreams? After hearing from Riley Barthold, our guest for today’s episode, your worries will start bowing down to your ambitions.
An accidental pro cyclist, artist, professional athlete, artist, and physical trainer to the celebrities in the greater LA area, and above all, a go-getter, Riley grew up on the East Coast in a wealthy family, living a fancy lifestyle. But as if in the blink of an eye, her life turned. The result? A restart of her life in rural Vermont in an abandoned, no-electricity maple sugar shack. Her journey is incredible because she’s seen those experiences as learning opportunities. You’ll be surprised to hear how she never allowed her fears, worries, or tough times to bring her down.
If the term pro-cycler got you excited initially, let’s tell you Riley never had any solid plans of becoming one. At 26, at the cusp of getting married, Riley decided to break her pre-engagement and go to Los Angeles. Mind you; she had $1,000 to her name.
She’s been ready for the opportunities, whenever and wherever, and has fun, come what may. She steps out of the line whenever that lands her a fair opportunity to do something she wants to. She doesn’t shy away from chasing her passions because she thinks isn’t the best at it. If you can do what you love and make decent money to live a comfortable life, what’s stopping you from pursuing that path?
