Amber Wise is a mother of 4, a military spouse, and lover of health and fitness. Creator of FIT Ladies BOOTCAMP, she has built a community around her program that helps busy women get fit in 20 minutes a day from home.
Diagnosed at age 2 with Cerebral Palsy, doctors said she would never live a "normal" active life. Fortunately, her sister sparked Amber's rebellious spirit and she has spent the rest of her life proving the naysayers wrong!
In the episode we talk about
- Why you can't pour from an empty cup, and why putting yourself first helps you give more to those you love,
- How running help her navigate overwhelming emotions and set her on a path to fitness,
- The power of community support, accountability and inspiration,
- Goals based on productivity gains rather than the ultimate outcome,
- How her morning routine sets her up for success,
- Sometimes all it takes is "Just push play!"
