How finding our natural survival healing mechanism within us is life changing.
Karlee and Teresa talk openly about dark days to finding hope and clarity. Teresa chose not to take medications anymore as they were making her worse. That is when Teresa met Karlee and started working with tools to release her fear, anxiety and pain.
Teresa was living in a numb, fight, or flight state, and after a few months of working on herself and by completing fight flight response, she found her voice and is using it. She has released a lot of anger and adrenaline from past abuse and is finding more peace and calm in her mind and body. We carry tension and pain in our bodies when we are stressed and our nervous system goes into fight flight freeze mode. Tension in the body is from the emotions we hang onto. Our emotions rest in the body and they can lay dormant unaware to us. How we can start to unwind our emotions and tension: 1. Be aware of what is happening in the body, the heart, the gut.
