Today we have Clarissa Hernandez on the podcast with me! Clarissa is a graphic designer and is a co-owner/creator of FailTimes (a zine without a website)! Clarissa was so fun to interview, I really enjoyed hearing her perspective on empathy, how to have a healthy confrontation, and taking care of oneself! I'm starting to notice a theme here, it seems that part of truly flourishing in life is loving and taking care of yourself. I hope that you guys really get something out of this episode, something that will help you on your journey with yourself. Whether its that you've now found a good book to read or you've finally come to a place where you can acknowledge how you feel and how to confront someone who hurt you in a healthy way. Remember that you, the listeners, are beautiful and you’re worthy. Drink LOTS of water, stay healthy, fun, funky, and yourself!
If you want to see and hear more from Clarrisa go ahead and follow her on Instagram @clarissatx and go-ahead and follow FailTimes on Instagram @failtimeszine as well! Go ahead I dare you!

In this episode, I am finally talking to Tara Jackson! I don't know how much you guys were anticipating this but I know that I for sure was, and now it's finally here! I'm actually pretty glad that I got a second chance to interview her, was it fun finding out it didn't record her audio the first time? No. Did I cry, I'll admit it I did. But in this episode, I was given the privilege to talk to Tara about race and racism. Hearing her perspective as a mother, human, as a joyful person, as Tara was really cool and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Even if you don't agree with what we are talking about, or even if you do I hope that you get something out of this episode that you can't get anywhere else. I Love yall and I hope you feel Loved. Want to hear and see more of Tara Jackson? Go ahead and follow her on Instagram @taraj.jackson go ahead I dare you!

In this episode, we are taking a break from interviewing people, trust me it's not for long but today you'll have 41 minutes and 34 seconds of me talking on community. I started a study on community on February 17th, 2020 and it took several months but those months were so worth it. I honestly can't believe that the reading of my study took 40 minutes but it took months to do I guess that's valid. Even if you, the listener, don't have the same beliefs that I do I really hope that you can get something out of what I am saying.

Y'all I am so excited about this week's episode!!! I will be interviewing my mom, my mom is someone who is very dear and near to me. This time I am not recording in my basement, which is an improvement. One of the things that really love about being able to talk to my mom is that we can be fun and we can get deep and real at the same time. The theme in this episode turned out to be identity and journey with a relationship with God and others. This is timely because I know that for me 2020 has been a self-discovery year. Even if you don't have the same beliefs that we do I hope that you get something out of listening to us talk that will help you on your journey with yourself.

Today's episode is extra special because I am interviewing my little brother Eli! He brings the fun, has some solid friendship advice, and is a master at Minecraft. You need a friend BOOM Eli is there, you want to play Minecraft he is your guy, have questions about Minecraft? Trust me he has your back. I had such a good time interviewing him, he really brought the fun and made the place feel cozy and real. Remember that you matter, stay fun, funky, cool, and most importantly stay yourself, the world needs all of you! Keep on Minecrafting!

In this episode, I'm interviewing Kait Hurley! Kait is the Co-founder of the Kait app, has a new a podcast, website, and is a master at the moment + meditation method. This episode was so much fun for me, I really enjoyed talking to her about what truly flourishing in life, through the good, bad, relationships, looks like for her on a daily basis. She shares with us what it felt like to be of being the youngest of four and her journey with exercising, as well as advice to people who are on the road she was on. She is full of profound answers, insight, and kindness. One of the things she said that really stuck with me is "There's nothing wrong with pushing yourself, it gets dangerous when we let those tendencies drive and define us."
