Find Your Calm - Simple Pause
This week's practice is all about taking an intentional pause. It's so easy to go through our days on auto pilot isn't it? Do you notice when the time just flies and you take a deep breath to 'wake' yourself up again?   It's already the end of the day and you don't really know what happened? Today's episode talks about a practice that is so simple, yet profound. It can have positive impacts on your stress levels by lowering your heart rate, re-centering or re-focusing your mind and bringing you back to the present. Take a break and a listen to this short episode.  I would love to know, were you were able to notice any thing change after taking a simple pause? Hang in there! Mel

Find Your Calm - Separate and Together
The stress you are feeling right now is absolutely expected!  These are unprecedented times. Today's short clip is around noticing and perhaps inviting a new way of connecting with others.  Perhaps you are feeling separated from your family, routine, friends, colleagues AND you are able to also feel a sense of global or community togetherness and connection. This week, I invite you to notice when your feelings of loneliness appear, when you begin to feel separate from others. Can you notice this thought and then shift to the AND?   Some ideas of thoughts are: I feel lonely and connected.  I am separated from the office AND going through this experience together with my team.  I feel separated from my xyz and a part of a global community that wants to heal. I am distancing from others AND connecting to them through new ways.  What are your thoughts? Send me a message [email protected]. Be well, Mel xo
