As they deal  with small children their careers and managing their own debt they are now grappling with caring for parents and their potential healthcare needs.  They are considering their roles as their parents may have little to no resources if nursing home care is needed.

On this episode I have a conversation with Braxton Haulcy, the Executive Director of the Walker West Music Academy.  Walker West is thought to be the oldest community music school in the nation founded by African American musicians.  This non-profit music school teaches all styles of music, but is especially well-known for teaching jazz, gospel and other styles of improvisational music. The organization provides affordable, quality music instruction inspired by the African American cultural experience to young people and adults.
