When a person is rude, don't listen. When a person is mean, walk away. When someone tries to make you feel inferior, stand tall. You cannot allow the actions of another person to disrupt your inner peace. And I recently had an experience where I did just that. But never, ever again! In today's episode, I talk about how you have to take the high road, shine your light bright, and smile like Heinz Ward after he gets knocked down on the football field. If you're a Steelers fan, you'll get the reference!

Where are all of my New Year's Resolutioners at??? You know, the ones who wait for January 1st to start working out and eating right? Believe me, I get it. I used to be one of those people too. But what if, just hear me out, what if you started today? What if you didn't wait? What if you started working out today, eating right today, getting your mindset right today? How different would that January 1st start be if you already had 24 days under your belt? In today's episode, I share what a game-changer it can be for you and your health to get started now instead of waiting for the new year.

Are you someone who lets fear keep you from going after your goals? See, I was always the person that was afraid to try new things, step outside my comfort zone, mostly because I was afraid to fail. I didn't want people to judge me. I didn't like feeling unprepared, incapable, or just not being the best at something. In today's episode, I talk about how pushing past your fears can help you achieve the life you were destined for.

Did you ever think about that? Probably not. But, it's true. You need to stop comparing your Chapter 1 to SOMEONE ELSE'S Chapter 10. YOU NEED TO!
It's YOUR race. It's YOUR journey. And the only person you should be comparing yourself to....is YOU! It's so easy to get sucked into the comparison game. Believe me, I GET IT! Celebrate your wins and how far you've come. Show up every day and keep moving forward. Meet yourself where you are and compare you to you. In today's episode, I share a recent conversation I had that prompted me to speak more on this topic and I hope it helps you to realize that the only person you need to focus on, the only person whose opinion truly matters is the one staring right back at you in the mirror.

I see it more than I would like to and that's women criticizing other women, talking badly about them, knocking them down, saying hurtful things, just being plain mean. Instead, women should be lifting each other up, instead of tearing each other down. Fixing each other’s crowns without pointing out the fact that it was crooked in the first place. Celebrating each other’s successes instead of judging and criticizing their choices. In today's episode, I share my feelings on this matter and how setting an example for my daughter's to be kinder starts with me.
