This is the first of a 2-part episode where we’re talking the 'mental game.' In
endurance sports the 'mental game' is a much-underestimated component of how it effects not just the result but your enjoyment.

This is a a topic we’ll cover a lot in this podcast.  Endurance sport, and aerobic exercise is not only great for our physical health but also our mental health.

And studies have now proven that aerobic exercise is beneficial in reducing the risk of diseases such as Alzheimer's and Dementia. With the incidences of mental illness on the increase, exercise has been shown to help people deal with the impact of mental illnesses such as depression.
