Saramarie Anderson is a RN at the University of Kentucky(UK) where she works in the cardiac ICU. She earned her bachelor of science from UK and her BSN from Eastern Kentucky University. In 2012 she was diagnosed with Idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension (IPAH) which is a rare disease characterized by elevated pulmonary artery pressure with no apparent cause. She has used her diagnosis to help inspire those she meets as a nurse. When she is not working she enjoys adventure(rock climbing, backpacking) and hanging out with her goldendoodle, Charlie.
