Do you really understand what codependent relationship is?  What a codependent relationship looks like? Many people think that codependent is the same as being clingy.  It is not because the latter is much less extreme.  A clingy person may “hang around” a bit too much, a codependent person believes that they can’t be alone and don't want to be.

A codependent individual yearn to feel as if they are needed, even if it means leaning entirely into another for physical, emotional, and psychlogical well being.  More often than not, this exaggerated sense of neediness leads to the person compromising not only their self-esteem and self-worth but that of their partner as well.

Come join Dr BB to find out more about the common signs of a codependent relationship, how does it develop, and possible treatments.
