Jera is the Director of Development at the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at Ohio State University and the Owner of Mahogany Manifesto. She is dedicated to and passionate about the goal of helping people overcome systemic barriers driven by racism, classism, and gender discrimination. Jera has expertise in the space of philanthropy, is a collaboration-oriented leader, and strives to dismantle glass ceilings in her work. Jera is also an avid gardener who has co-founded Growing and Growth Collective where she supports a well-being-focused perspective and works closely with community gardening & urban agriculture champions in the Central Ohio area to uplift the BIPOC community.
