I know the show is ending because it has to, and has nothing to do with how people, if you can call them that, treated Tony. But as a white person, I know exactly where you were coming from speaking your own piece, Lego, and I just find that kind of behavior absolutely pathetic and wanted to say something about it. Tony is just a person like me. It’s not about being woke, but maybe wake up anyway. Don’t be a ding dong.

Here’s the irony, the new hosts are so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Destiny 2 PVP that they have a hard time keeping the presentation simple and straightforward. In short, they are all over the map from personal experiences and approach to stats backed up by their community of stat lovers. This is rich and I always learn something but they tend to go down tangents and the podcasts are getting longer and longer so it takes more of an effort to consume this content. Suggestion: Either split the show into personal approaches vs recommend roles or do both at the same time but craft it, don’t just spill it out. This would mean making more than one show per week and more planning. However you choose, this would honor my time better. I enjoy your enthusiasm and insight and don’t want to face you in The Crucible.

I’ve been a listener since Merc was on the show. I think Lego and Tony are doing a great job and the most recent shows have definitely shown their development as hosts. They’re well prepared and well informed. This is a must-listen for any PVP main or roll nerd. My only constructive criticism is this - Tony constantly repeats his sentences when making a point. I sometimes feel like I’m being sold something at a car dealership. 😅 Once I noticed it, it was hard to focus on the show because in my head I was counting the repetitions. But what do I know I’m not a podcast host. Good job guys!

I discovered this podcast right when merc was just about to leave, listened to every episode since then, and now its something I look forward to. I was a huge fan of crucible radio, and even own a birds monarchy coffee mug. You both are great hosts, making me open my destiny app on the fly to look at things in my vault. I’m a father of 2 (2 and 4 years old) and don’t have that “grind” time anymore but still love to play. Pvp enthusiast. It’s also hard to watch all the youtube videos to catch all the new things. A man can only use the bathroom so many times in a given day. So thank you for all the work you guys put in, I can multitask or listen on my drive home. With all the damage stacking info, i was wondering if you could touch on eriana’s vow. Its one of my favorite weapons and I’m very “non meta”. I have a true prophecy with elemental capacitor and opening shot on arc titan. It is enjoyable. I don’t have the time to test myself, but would be great to hear how many solar surges I actually need to 1 tap and just some building options around. (Don’t tell merc and kutch but i think that:) the two new hosts have taken this podcast to a ceiling i had hoped the show would one day get to. I have been a listener for many years, and as someone who is extremely knowledgeable about the game, to me it feels like the show is me and my friends getting all giddy about the game and it’s such a refreshing feeling. The new hosts have such an infectious joy about the game i can’t wait for new episodes to come out. Truly is my favorite podcast out there. (P.S. y’all should try boots of assembler, lumina, and frozen orbit with H.I.R….. another thing, no one is talking about it, but prolonged engagement also gets target lock and can get to 19+ m with the same TTK as the current iteration of the immortal)

While I do appreciate Lego and Tony’s new and refreshing breakdowns on weapons, please be better at ensuring your information is accurate before discussing. I think I counted at least 3 times in the most recent episode where Lego misread perk names and/or descriptions, and also incorrectly calculated damage stacking where he realized he was wrong about a weapon being able to 1-shot. Listening to him hype a weapon up only to find out it was a bust and then scrambling to correct himself is distracting and makes me want to turn off the podcast in worry of it becoming an unreliable source of information.

These guys put on such a great show every week! The synergy between them really is amazing. So much insight from 2 players with different styles, truly bringing something to the table for everyone. Cant recommend this show enough! Keep up the amazing work illphysics and lego!

As a vet ive struggled with pvp. Started listening about 2 years ago. Ive never been one to play with the meta so with the help of DMB ive been able to find perks that go with my build to combat meta users to a point where ive been able to bring my .8 kd up to a 1.0 kd. Then pve came out and it changed my game. Im mostly a pve guy and had builds i thought were good but oh boy was I wrong. Thank you all for all you do! Keep up the great work!

I’ve been a long time listener on other platforms, having switched to Apple Podcasts recently. This show is a weekly ritual of mine to listen to while I’m at work. You won’t find an in depth analysis of weapons or the sandbox at large for the Crucible of this quality anywhere else. Other shows have opinions and discussions - but Kyt delivers hard numbers behind all the perks, archetypes, and interactions you need to choose the perfect load out at the end of the day. Great selection and variety of guests as well for each individual topic. I can comfortably say this is the best podcast to listen to if you play crucible any more than your 3 games a week for the pinnacle.

Hey I’m a new listener and I have a question but before that I absolutely love this show I could listen to it 8 days a week It’s amazing. Ok now for the question I’m a noob at destiny only at 1436 power hunter and I’m a part of electro class or whatever I’m not an owner of any of the dlc’s the question is what is a good way to grind I’ve been playing for about half a year and been trying to find a new place to grind love the show byyyyeee

This show is amazing. I started playing Destiny 1 around 2 years before D2 came out, and mostly played PvE. I took a break from it for a while and recently just started playing Destiny 2 during Season of the Haunted, and there were a bunch of stuff that was new for me that I didn’t really understand. This show really helped with finding out good perks, weapon types, and other content creators that I can go to if I’m ever confused. Honestly, I can’t recommend this show enough for those who want to learn the gunplay of Destiny,

I found the Destiny Universe back in 2014, I’m a Beta veteran from Xbox and have sense migrated to PC. Recently I’ve found myself remotivated to focus on self-improvement in-game, which in-and-of-itself isn’t foreign to me. But to be reinvigorated to markedly improve at a seven year old game? I was surprised with the tenacity I felt at helping myself and my fireteam improve at all things Destiny after so long. This desire to improve drove me out into the interwebs in search of the right blend of information and entertainment. Info-tain-ment, if you will, and I’m so wildly glad I found DMB. What originally made me stop was the amazing creator guests they were featuring. Some of which, were creators I was actively following to try and understand how they think and breakdown situations, why they use the loadouts they use, etc. But what I found after just a few episodes was a fun atmosphere where some of the most influential and though provoking Destiny minds can congregate and wax-pseudo-philosophic about the meta and weapons. The single thing I’ve enjoyed the most is how expertly DMB and Kyt integrate highly complex topics about weapon statistics and mod options, with entertaining guests and engaging topics. You’ve absolutely found an advocate for sharing this kind of information to help anyone and everyone improve at whatever they’re passionate about in-game!! I’m absolutely a life-long consumer and can’t wait to dive into older episodes!

I’ve only been listening for a couple of months, but I’ve learned more about PvP here than I have anywhere else. The host Kyt Kutcha is well prepared every week, often having a well known name in the PvP scene as a guest to give insight on specific aspects of the crucible or weapons. All unrelated topics are kept brief and no silly gimmicks or whacky sound effects, which I appreciate. Additionally, the sound quality is always good. 5/5 podcast. Been listening to Kutch for a couple years now, MB and PVE alike will help you with the down and dirty of your favorite space magic shooter. Love to hear the takes from the community, its been amazing to see Kutch takeover and bring in these incredibly dedicated specialists to deep dive on various weapons. Even when hosting solo he manages clean info while entertaining for over an hour at a time.

I only started listening on that Chris Proctor episode but now that Bungie updates the game a lot more, DMB has become an essential part of my Destiny experience by making sure I always know what the cones are up to. Great show for those who like to know the nitty gritty of Destiny 2 gunplay.

I played destiny 1 from alpha till the end. Didn’t get into destiny 2 until recently and things have changed a lot. I found massive looking for information on how stats work in destiny 2 and found much more here than I could ever have hoped for. I love the number and how deep you guys go into things. I’m starting to understand what’s important and how to use my tools available more effectively. I never thought I could go into pvp at all in d2 but now I’m confident enough to jump in and fight.

Tbh this is my favorite podcast full stop. I have learned so much from this show. The knowledge provided is invaluable. I was sad to see merk go but kyt does a fantastic job on his own and with guests. Keep up the great work. We appreciate it!

I don’t play PvP a ton. I honestly play PvE more often than PvP and probably listen to different versions of destiny media (YouTube, Spotify, etc) more often than I play PvP as well. However, when I do play, my experience is significantly better because of what I’ve learned on this podcast. Plus, the team here seems like good people and that matters to me. I’d recommend bringing True Vanguard onto the podcast for possibly a sidearm episode ;)

Mercules and Kyt do an incredible job of breaking down the meta and weapons in an easy to understand manner. They also happen to be huge Star Wars nerds which only earns them brownie points from me and Beneath Twin Suns, their Star Wars podcast, is equally incredible and a must listen for any Star Wars fan.
