In this episode, we sit down with Mark Tomanek and we get to know a little more about him as a person, coach, and also as an educator. We get into how becoming a teacher has influenced his path as a coach and in ways that they both, differ and compare. We hear stories of experience and lessons learned, and even moments of challenge during Mark's career. We cut the talk of education and coaching down to get into "training with intent" and what this concept means to Mark, other individuals, and the ways in which it has been portrayed through fitness culture and way it has also be misconstrued over time with references to personal records, what is heavy, and more. Mark also helps me begin to really hone in on my flow and my stature as a host and made it very easy roll with the conversations. We have much more in store for many more episodes together, but for now enjoy this epsode, for it is one for the books!
