As an author,  writing enthusiast and former college journalist,  story and the art of story has been the pulse of my being since age 5. Plus, stories are how we humans make sense of the world. However, this year during my own stillness practice (and thanks to my coach), I started understanding the negatives of stories-- especially the ones we repeatedly tell ourselves.

This episode unpacks how and why stories can be addictive and thus hold us back from possibility.

Episodes mentioned on storytelling:

21. A chapter from my book: Singledom

27. NYT Best-Selling Author, David Wedge

44. John Riggi: Writing, Directing and. Producing in Hollywood

50. Author and Actress Jacqueline Journey

63. Racecar driver and Author Kristian Alexio

67. Author and Show-runner Emily Belden on tenaciousness
