Okay, today is day 30 and once again it's all about numbers!

Specifically, it's about the numbers of our ads.

We have now the first month with results and that means for us we have to consider whether the whole thing is worthwhile or whether we invest too much time, money and effort.

So let's start with the money we spent for the ads.

Currently we are at 112 € for the last 30 days.

For this investment we were able to reach 1687 potential customers.

Our statistics show that about one third of these 1687 people were willing to watch our video content.

Specifically, the value is 30.20%.

The Google Ads overview also shows us that over 13% watched the video for at least half of the running time.

This shows at least a basic interest.

Still, 10.76% have watched the video for up to three quarters of the total length and a whopping 9.15% have even watched the video for 100%.

I find this result awesome, because it shows that you can buy a qualified lead for about 8 euros.

But we humans are victims of so-called heuristics, which means that our brain immediately tries to pigeonhole these numbers.

In this case, however, you have to consider that we have shown the videos unfiltered to people who actually wanted to watch a different video on YouTube!

What does that mean in concrete terms?

Quite simply, about one in three viewers gives our promotional video a chance and at least watches it.

And almost every tenth viewer has even watched our ad to the end instead of watching the originally selected video!

Of course, our videos are not pure ads but they are explicitly created to do exactly three things.

The first thing is to actually provide helpful information to convince people that we can actually help them.

We regularly get requests from such people, for example right now from a management consultant who is specialized in Theory of constraints here in Germany.

The second thing is to create good will in these people so that they are willing to watch more videos from us in the future or make more requests.

And the third thing is to convey a concrete call to action.

In our case, it's about the viewer either watching another video or deciding to subscribe to our channel.

Because that's the first step in the chain of value creation.

We also already show the possibility to buy the premium course, but in fact the premium course is not ready yet!

We know that our videos will be available on the Internet for many years to come, so it's no problem to mention the Premium Course at this stage.

Because in fact you can already buy it, even if the content is not yet completely created.

But back to the numbers.

The nominal value of our video course for premium customers is currently well over €1000.

Does it make sense to spend €112 to reach 1687 potential customers?

If we can convince even a single paying customer among these 1687 potential customers to buy wouldn't that be a good margin?

But every business works a little differently and you as a business owner have to think for yourself if and in which way the numbers speak for or maybe against such a promotion.

To be honest, ten years ago we would not have been able to run promotions like this one, but we have now reached a point where we are able to finance our expenses and our salaries from the income we have been able to generate from our previously created premium courses.

That's why it makes sense for us to spend up to 300 € extra per month on advertising to attract future customers and to convince people that we are a good choice when it comes to acquiring new customers with video content on the Internet.

Okay, that's it for today.
