— It’s Tim Conway Jr.’s birthday, and Uncle T-Bones is here to make it weird.  9:20 — The new Hollywood Burbank terminal is open. It’s more than 50% bigger, with the same 14 gates, and you still walk out on the tarmac to board. Tim remembers his mom almost running over Bob Hope back when it was Bob Hope Airport.  9:35 — So, what happens to the old terminal? It’s been in service since 1930, and the mayor says it isn’t up to code and can’t be reused. It’s coming down, though no demolition date has been set yet.  9:50 — Canter’s Deli has been on Fairfax since the 1950s, and now its LADWP power bill has jumped about $10,000.
