I stumbled upon this podcast and have loved it - but the episodes with Hana by herself just aren’t the same and don’t show off her excellent interviewing talents! I hope that format comes back to the show soon.

Content is amazing. I have been a bulgogi fan from ep 1 and love your energy, but one feedback I have is: when you record in your car…the mic is too clear to the point that I can hear you chew and swallow, and it can be distracting. Perhaps we can change that

I always appreciate interviews where the host asks thoughtful questions—Hana does exactly that and sprinkles in some levity and humor. Looking forward to consuming more Bulgogi episodes 🫶.

I just listened to the people pleasing episode and she is very self aware and insightful! It sounds like she has gone to therapy (even if she hasn’t) since she has a really good grasp on her feelings and how her childhood and past has impacted her today. I like the hyper fixations part but skipped ahead since I was most interested in the people pleasing topic

I found you guys on the women’s history month page! Initially I didn’t think I’d be interested after realizing this is just basically two friends talking to each other (hello, what are podcasts then?) but you guys are super cool to listen to and your varied insight was fun and relatable and makes me miss having girl friends 😭 Can’t wait to listen to more :)

Somehow Hana and Julie always end up making me laugh somehow, and as a new podcast listener, I’m glad I found them so fast 😆 I love their friendship so much, it makes me happy to hear how close they are together. The advice and stories they share give a different view or outlook on lives of others, and I look up to them because of that.

Absolutely love tuning in every week - the topics Hana & Julie (and friends) talk about are exactly what my girlfriends and I ask ourselves. It’s like sitting in on my friends’ conversations - the episodes are easy going, funny, and thought provoking!

Every episode is so genuine and relatable. Also Hana has a way of moderating the topics so guests are comfortable enough to open up and be so transparent. In one sentence, this Bulgogi is the 봄날의 햇살.

This podcast never fails to make me laugh and is definitely my go-to in the car. And bulgogi is yummy (:

I first saw these girls on TikTok and I loved the video! I decided to give them a listen and now I’m HOOKED! I love how it feels like I’m a part of the conversation, instead of just listening!

They are so funny and real. I’ve never related to a podcast so much. Thank you!

I love this podcast! But can you make the audio equal? I hate having it switch from one ear to the other especially when I can only have one AirPod in at a time.

I actually came across this on tiktok, I saw the green flag clip and I wanted to listen to the show after seeing that. I ended up binge listening and I don’t regret it. I’m actually Pakistani and I think the show goes more than asian listeners bc I can still relate

The dynamic and banter of the two cohost is energizing and fun. I listen in the gym and makes workouts easier to get through. They also give the right advice. 📈🚀👍

I have ADHD and there aren’t a lot of podcasts where I can sit there and listen to the entire thing without getting bored or distracted. But... BUTTTT Bulgogi Pod has my undivided attention. Bulgogi Pod is so traditionally modern. And what I mean by that is how they bring in the memories that a lot of the Asian American or Korean American listeners have had growing up, and making funny remarks here and there. There’s a hint of tradition in their conversations, and when you catch it, it makes everything tie in together and that’s when I laugh and smile. It’s a nice podcast to listen to when you’re wanting to feel in a good mood. Easy to listen to, and it’s very nice to hear to close friends be able to create conversations between each other like it’s always exciting, fresh, and new. You really hear the sincerity in both their voices, and their dynamics with each other really do compliment each other very well. Love the chemistry between Hana

To be honest, I'm not much of a podcast person and I thought that this would be "too young" for me. I was definitely wrong and these two are very entertaining and have great chemistry. These podcasts are definitely worth a listen!

I'm thoroughly impressed how well Julie and Hana articulate and express their post-grad journey. I feel like Bulgogi pod has been running for multiple seasons already, considering how professional and cohesive the first seven episodes have been. These two have such a contagious laugh -- I couldn't help but crack up at Hana peeing her pants in Europe, or Julie swallowing a fly. They are such great story tellers and even simple experiences are exciting and hilarious. I also loved the metaphor of you two being the "dash" in the middle of "Asian-American" Julie and Hana have a unique talent to bring the listener into THEIR friendship, and let the listener feel like they are right there with them, joking around, sharing stories, and roasting each other. Thanks for doing what y'all do and sharing! You've got a lifelong Gogi right here!

If you’re looking for a podcast to carry you through your commute or something to play in the background while you’re getting ready, honestly this is it!! These girls are funny and relatable. I feel like they’re just two of my girl friends

Two hilarious, comfortable, and easy going young Korean ladies cover things that the millennial Korean-Americans experience as they live their lives in the ‘dash’ between Korean and American- And it is so relatable. Basing off of their personal experiences, they tell captivating stories- which at times turn into an uncontrollable laughing, snorting or burping- the hosts maintains listeners engagement through the journey of their discovery and epiphanies.

Pls give them a listen. Just sounds so pure & genuine. Two young 20s just sharing a piece of their life and living through the struggles of being Asian-American. Honestly girly talk... but boys can def learn a thing or two. Knowing that these two have thought of or experienced things I’ve gone through makes me feel like i know them & that I’m not alone! Can’t wait for their future episodes!!

Love this casual podcast - really chill vibe to it with relevant and relatable conversation topics, especially around the chaotic nature of young adulthood. I’m a podcast snob and the chemistry between the two makes the episodes a really easy listen. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a podcast where it feels like you’re just listening to some weekly tea from two pals.
