Muslim Hijacks a Plane: Gets the Sh*t Kicked Out of Him By a Jewish Bank CEO
37 minutes Posted Oct 1, 2026 at 12:02 pm.
, they reinforced the cockpit doors. So no matter what, they wouldn’t have been able to break in.Simone Collins:They never thought that the call would be coming from inside the cockpit. That’s terrifying.Malcolm Collins:And so the pilot was the last ounce of his strength, was able to unclip the cockpit door Wow. To hit the release while the people were there trying to break in.Simone Collins:Thank goodness. I mean, wow. You get stabbed, and you and the plane’s flying all over the place. Where was he stabbed? Know where he was stabbed on his body?Malcolm Collins:I’ll ask.Simone Collins:You know, I just while you’re asking, when you came into my room, my office this this afternoon and were like, Simone, have you not heard the crazy thing that just happened with, you know, the the airplanes and the skies? And I was like, you’re finally gonna talk about it. And you’re like, yeah. The terrorist attack. And I’m like, wait. What kind of terrorist attack? And I thought you were going to talk about the furry menace. Because The furry menace. Oh my ThatMalcolm Collins:was so funny, the Republican senator who doesn’tSimone Collins:really like furry. I just I brought up his tweet to just relive the moment. A coach Tommy Tuberville. This is senator Tuberville. I know the deranged Democrats don’t like the fact that I called out the insane furry culture this week, but the truth is there is an alarming number of these deranged people working in our airline industry. Don’t believe me? Just a few months ago, pilots were meowing and barking at each other over the radio at DCA. That’s Reagan National Airport. That’s, like, the airport that any self respecting senator would want to take because you don’t wanna fly into Dulles. It is a neighbor of an airport. And I just have to show so it turns out, by the way, he they are actually meowing. I act I I had to download the video because it makes me so happy.Malcolm Collins:Why did I marry this woman? People making fake furry noises gives you the You guys need to be professional, Tyler.Simone Collins:That’s youMalcolm Collins:gonna still flying RJ? Meow. Meow. Meow.Simone Collins:Meow. But it turns out that for over twenty years, airline pilots have been using this emergency radio frequency to just meow occasionally, and it’s just an inside joke in the pilot world. And I watched this video by this curmudgeonly former retired pilot or whatever who’s like, they need to stop doing this. This is an emergency radio area. Like, obviously, they will stop meowing on the radio when there’s an actual emergency. Let the let the men meow. Okay?Malcolm Collins:Meow. It’s not gonna block an actual emergency.Simone Collins:Like, it’s not that’ll someone being like, oh, hello. Blah blah blah. Help. They’re gonna not they’re gonna stop. And I love that they do it, and I love even more than a senator found out that they did it and was like, the furries are Scott’s. I don’t thinkMalcolm Collins:you can be anti furry and, like, a serious part of the cultural conversation right now. I know. I don’t. I don’t even think Nick Fuentes is anti furry. I I might need to double check that, but ISimone Collins:Oh, he I and he now he’d be performatively anti furry just because, you know, you would support it. I I I not that he would hate you. I I think we’d get along well. I think we’d be friends. I don’t know. I would like to think that we’d be friends. But, oh my gosh, I thought you were gonna tell do it like you’re like Simone, that you finally read my WhatsApp text to you about this where I was just dying because there are furries. I mean, they’re not furries. They’re just pilots having a good time.Malcolm Collins:Well, but but outside of the it’s just an inside joke among pilots, like, nobody cares about furries anymore. Like, it’s the Internet, guys. Grow up. There’s furries everywhere. Like Look.Simone Collins:People like to be animal. Just it turns out that what Titan and Indy have been doing, our our two girls, is Titan’s like, you’re my cat. And Indy’s like, meow. And it’s really cute. Her meows are so adorable. You gotta know you’ll you’ll notice when she comes home tonight because Titan will be like, meow, Indy. She’ll be like, meow. So cute. And I’m like, well, Tyson, if Eddie’s a cat, what are you? And she’s like, I’m a human. So one of our children has been has had a furry identity imposed on her, but she’s totally leaning into it. Anyway, carry on. What actuallyMalcolm Collins:Well no. I mean, I do I do wanna, like, the it is funny to watch a senator crash out about furries when, like, the online conversation has just moved on from them.Simone Collins:It’s like Like, we’ve already assimilated to the fact that the future is cat girls.Malcolm Collins:And conservatism is cat girls conservatism. Our website is, like, nothing but cat girls. It’s sort of, like, a big the Neko Neko Voss. It’s the the takeoff.Simone Collins:Yeah. That’s what you’ve named the site’s mascot, Neko Voss. Yeah. Yeah, dude. Skybrows videos are It’sMalcolm Collins:a it’s a joke on the name Voss, Laura Voss that AI always chooses. Elara Voss. Elara Voss. And so we went with Neko Voss for the site’s mascot, and she dances around in all the animations and all the loading animations. It’s really nice. And if you wanna do this for your own site, you can use the rfab API key. It makes it really easy to vibe code with stuff. As I’ve really found in terms of building assets for the video game that I’m making, Our fab makes it so easy to vibe code a really nice looking video game.Simone Collins:It is kinda shocking how good it looks.Malcolm Collins:There’s some clips on screen here. It is astonishingly good because it can it can vibe code animations. It can vibe code three d. It can vibe code audio, music, reading that it needs, everything.Simone Collins:But, also, you had it vibe code animated avatars that will respond, but using AI. So you’re notMalcolm Collins:getting canceled. I actually worked that into the gameplay. So the animated avatars that do, like, you know, like, talking and, like, you can see the move and everything like that, that that’s in the game.Simone Collins:And, yeah, it’s not, again, it’s not canned responses. It is a response based on who they are based on what you’re saying, which is so cool. I love that. Anyway, back to this terrorized airline. The was the pilot stabbed as he Okay. Was lurching toward the door?Malcolm Collins:Don’t have a critical diagram next, but what we know is he was stabbed multiple times. And he was heavily bleeding from the head and hands. And they show him lying in a galley with an oxygen mask, one hand over an abdomen wound, and a blood soaked bandage, and at least one other injury. Passengers say the copilot used a pocket knife, a a folding knife, and stabbed him repeatedly. So head, hands, and abdomen. He’s in serious condition, but he survived the flight. Showed us that the captain is in very bad shape with heavy bleeding. Although I suspect we know by now if he was gonna die, like, if they’ve been able to keep him alive till now, hopefully, that means he’s gonna make it. ButSimone Collins:It’s nice.Malcolm Collins:I’ll check before the video goes live because, you know, you know, we filmed these at 9AM, and weSimone Collins:Why does he have to stab, like, an angry cat? I mean, you would think that if you’re a terrorist trying to, like, neuterMalcolm Collins:Well, apparently, it didn’t take down the pilot, and the pilotSimone Collins:Oh, that’s that’s problem I have with it. It’s, like, face and like, you would, I don’t know, stand up to be like, I’m gonna get a coffee or go to the bathroom, and then he would, like, slit their throat behind them. Like, he wasn’t being effective, and, like, he just hurt him really bad.Malcolm Collins:I mean, the thing that was getting me about this is just the unlikelihood of them pulling off this rescue that first, the terrorist had to be distracted with whatever he was doing with the plane to not notice the pilot unlocking through the door. Right? Getting the the safety a lot click clicker thing was, like, the last of his energy.Simone Collins:Yeah.Malcolm Collins:Then the group of guys burst in, takes him out before he damages critically any of the systems. then copilots take over a plane that was in a complete free fall at the time, apparently, in a death spiral. Oh my gosh. Stabilize the plane and get it safely to an airport. And during this entire thing, nobody died.Simone Collins:That is those I mean, I I feel incredibly bad for everyone who’s on that flight, especially the pilot. That that the amount of heroism that that took place, unbelievable. Unbelievable. Yeah.Malcolm Collins:I mean, it’s so interesting that if this happened, a while ago Yeah. The standard thought I would have had is, oh, they’re gonna make a movie about that, you know, like a a Lifetime movie orSimone Collins:something about Also, I feel like the the film industry is now incapable of making new movies. Like, we they don’t know how, but they they forgot how to not do sequels. So I’d be shocked.Malcolm Collins:Mean, we we obviously haven’tSimone Collins:got where’s the nine eleven movie action movie?Malcolm Collins:A good one. Yeah. I mean, they’ve they’ve made a number of them about the, you know, the passengers who took back the plane, but but they ended up crashing. Right?Speaker 3:Specifically, they made the movies, United 93 in 2006, which made 77 to $78,000,000. And then also in 2006, there was flight 93, which was an ANA TV movie. In terms of the other ‘9 11 movies, there was only the World Trade Center 2006, and 09/11/2017 was Charlie Sheen. So this one only made 200,000 worldwide, which was a a flop. But, yeah, the The United 96 did pretty well in terms of returns.Malcolm Collins:Like that,Simone Collins:they didn’t get Oh, sorry. They did? Okay. So they made they made one.Malcolm Collins:Wait. Do you not remember that? On 09/11, there were three planes. One of themSimone Collins:was I know. I I remember the plane that they, yeah, that they they downed to stop it from. But I don’t remember the there being a movie about it. There was? Okay. So thereMalcolm Collins:was. Swear there was movies about it. Because, I mean, obviously, everybody you know? But I I don’t I don’t think it it’s hard to make a movie like that, honestly, good, because it’s realSimone Collins:It’s so sad. You don’tMalcolm Collins:wanna real people who died, and so you can’t have them be overly flawed. You can’t have them be overly like, there’s just not a lot of interesting stuff you can do with it.Simone Collins:Well, I think no one really wants to to relive a moment like that where you know from the beginning that there’s no hope and that everyone No.Malcolm Collins:I mean, a lot of people like the land before time, but I guess they don’t have them die at the end. That’s the it’s a very sad movie. Did you did you watch the land before time?Simone Collins:Yeah. Did you doMalcolm Collins:you remember, like, bawling your eyes out in that movie?Simone Collins:Yeah. I yeah. Let’s not let’s not go to these dark places.Malcolm Collins:Can we can we play that for our kids? Just watch them be traumatized? No.Simone Collins:I don’t know, though. I mean, like, you and I were just you know, I was at least crying at the end of home alone that we were just watching last night. I’m like, oh, god. He got back together. Like, you know, instead just celebrating the the the the violent assault of, you know, the the aggressor. Were like,Malcolm Collins:you know, you could never do that to, like, a real person. He goes, it’s okay, dad. It’s defense.Simone Collins:Yeah. It’s fine. They just it yeah.Malcolm Collins:Thought it was so funny watching the criminals be injured over and over and over again.Simone Collins:ContraPoints was right. It’s saw, but for kids. so I I you know, she she gets it right occasionally.Malcolm Collins:The plane plunged thousands of feet, transmitted an emergency and hijack codes, which prompted Israeli to in Israel to scramble fighter jets, and made an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. All passengers survived. Actually, let’s let’s they probably would’ve had to shoot down the plane, which would have been, you know, horrible as well. Yeah.Simone Collins:With all those kids on it. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.Malcolm Collins:How did the how did the plane put outSimone Collins:hijack codes? Was that automatic? Presumably, if your altitude changes that fast, you’ve gotta put on hijack codes or something or possibly if there’s damage to the the instruments, maybe. Oh,Malcolm Collins:okay. So roughly two plus hours after takeoff, as the flight approached Israel over Jordan slash Saudi area, the copilot stabbed the captain with a knife. The aircraft then went into a steep dive. Flight tracking data showed a drop of 14,000 to 17,400 feet in under thirty seconds. Jesus Christ. Sorry. I gotSimone Collins:They were they were, like, hitting the ceiling.Malcolm Collins:Yeah. That’s that’s scary. We know at least one young girl was in the restroom when this happened because that’s what caused the the dad who was the banker to run to the front of the plane.Simone Collins:Oh my gosh.Malcolm Collins:The to with speed increasing sharply, it transmitted squawk 17 sorry. 7700 general emergency, then 7500 unlawful interference and hijacking. The plane recovered enough to divert and land safely into book. Jesus. Both of the captain and the copilot were injured and hospitalized. There was visible damage reported to the rubber by the extreme maneuvers. Israeli officials, including the prime minister and defense minister, have described it as an attempted terrorist attack intended to take over the plane and kill everyone on board. He was identified as an Omani national who had worked for Fly Dubai for nine months. No specific terrorist ties have been found yet, and no one has claimed responsibility yet. Oman has no diplomatic relations with Israel. Israel authorities are examining how he was assigned to an Israel bound flight given the aviation agreement rules that generally require crews from countries that have normalized ties with Israel’s.Simone Collins:Oh, wow. So, like, they even anticipated issues like this. Yeah. That’s wild.Malcolm Collins:Who shopped it? Israeli passengers plus extra fly Dubai crew who are traveling as passengers. A deadheading. So this is like they were traveling if in case the flight went long and they needed to change out with the existing passengers. It’s it’s normal on flights like this. This was an exceptional thing. there were four pilots on board in total. The two extras were there for possible day night routine type stuff, that I just talked about. the one named person that we know was involved is Tizvaka or Zhikva Mains. He was the Israeli CEO of Baraka Capital, a bank, Lumu underwriting arm. His wife heard screams near the cockpit. Their daughter was nearby in the bathroom. He and others entered helped overpower the attacker and were seen with a bloodied shirt. Passengers later tied the attack with in flight headphone cables. Several other Israelis, three to five guys, Yizkov Leiber and others were there. And then the relief pirates were a Russian and Ukrainian pilot. Although there there also may have been a Fijian pilot who ran relief. How they got to the cockpit and gained control? Yeah. I said it looked like they they clicked at the last second.Simone Collins:That is incredible.Malcolm Collins:Now I wanna see how the hijacking thing worked. How did it note it transmit those codes? Neither thing was automatic. Okay. So the drop itself could only be caused by someone pushing the nose down, fighting over the yokes, disconnected the autopilot, and hitting switches. Israeli officials describe the attack as standing out on the panel and bashing it, trying to sabotage the systems with already driving. The seven three seven has two yokes that are mechanically linked. If one pilot shoves the nose down and the other pulls up, the airplane pitches according to whoever wins the fight, plus whatever happens when the autopilot kicks off. After the first drop, the altitude bounce, steep descent climb another drop, then it settled at around 15,000 feet. The pattern looks like a struggle and recovery. MSCS and seven three max protections are not designed to do this. The these codes have to be entered man manually. Once the pilot or anyone hits the panels or dials the code, the transponder broadcast it automatically Oh. To ACT. So the pilot, I guess, did this?Simone Collins:I guess. That I mean, yeah. Who knows? I have no ideaSpeaker 7:Okay. So I went back to research this, and it appears that sloppy reporting made its work confusing than it should have been. This code was sent out seven minutes after the flight was stabilized, so it was likely one of the backup pilots who put it in.Simone Collins:.Malcolm Collins:Yeah. It looks like the pilot may have hit the hijacking. That’s wild. So That’s insane. I mean, the takeaway I think a lot of people are gonna have on this is, one, again, this reminds us why we need to be careful where you take immigrants from, where you even allow people to travel to your country from. We need to be significantly stricter in regards to these things. I think and I’m gonna be honest here. Like, a lot of people are probably not gonna like this, but I think a country not having normalized relations with Israel is a pretty easy way to decide who we shouldn’t be letting into America. Because these are the types of people who commit terrorist attacks over and over again. And we’ve had a large number of terrorist attacks that people just blow over or forget have been happening. I mean, there was a, I think, two Muslim terrorist attacks this last year in The United States. There was the one that was a car bombing of the synagogue, and there was the other on the school, I wanna say. Yeah.Simone Collins:I can’t keep track in all fairness.Malcolm Collins:But, hopefully, we don’t see what we normally see during Muslim terrorist attacks, which is Muslim positive sentiment soars because people are freaking idiots. this should cause you to be significantly more suspicious to be like, hey. You know, they will just kill people. Right? Like, they will just kill an airplane full of kids. Right? Like, that’s that’s the way that they operate. They do not care. Whereas, you know, when you see something like in The US in in war or something damages a school, it’s an accident. Right? And the minority of the victims that you’re looking at. Whereas the people we’re fighting against, it’s the majority of the victims. Like, they are genuinely monsters. And I think that one of the things that I may do an episode on in the future is how the war that we are fighting in Iran is essentially a fake war. It is not a real war that’s happening right now. to understand how not a real war it is, the one thing I keep remembering how much they freaked out about the bridge that was bombed. And then, like, two weeks laterSimone Collins:Oh my gosh. I completely forgot about that.Malcolm Collins:Yes. And everybody was so excited that Ukraine had bombed a bridge, but we bombed a bridge, and everyone was freaking out that a bridge was bombed. And it’s like, wait. Why why is it so great when Ukraine bombs bridges but so bad when The United States bombed a bridge? And it’s like, oh, because you’re fighting two fundamentally different types of conflicts. One is a real war. The other is a sock and bopper fight. Right? Like, you you no. Like, we haven’t even we could easily take out their oil infrastructure if we want to. We could easily take out their manufacturing infrastructure if we wanted to. We could easily do serious, serious damage if we want to. It is an active choice not to do those things on our part. And Well, doSimone Collins:you think just in terms of your early guessing of what’s going on that this man act in isolation? Or like, the prime minister, for example, of The UK is saying that there are strong indications that Iran played a part. Oh, no. He’s sorry. He’s talking about the terror plot against the that airport. Never mind. Totally disregard. You know how, like, recently people tried to attack the RAF air airport in The UK? IMalcolm Collins:mean, Iran and a lot of people don’t seem to understand this. Isn’t the center of most or the huge chunk of world terrorism at this point? Well, Iran or The UAE.Simone Collins:Well, was it the Iran I mean, Iran played a role, removed, correct, in the like, they supported Palestine as a terrorist against Israel, didn’t they?Malcolm Collins:Right. But they don’t just support. They support terrorist groups all over the world. That’s their been their primary strategy. The the Houthis, the, you know, the Hamas, the there’s terrorists that they supported in Africa. They they can’t remember.Simone Collins:Pretty good way to undermine your adversaries. It’s very cost effective. It’s way more cost effective than having your own army. Why not just feel very difficult to stop insurgents, essentially?Malcolm Collins:Yeah. And I’ll and I’ll note here, well, I mentioned that The UAE also funds terrorist organizations. It’s in a very different way. The terrorists that The UAE funds, they typically tack governments. So they’re, like, anti government terrorist groups where their interest is taking control of their countries, their regions. Right. Whereas the terrorist groups that Iran funded typically have the eradication of the Western world as their primary goal. And so they’re much more likely I mean, they always start with the Jews because they see the Jews as sort of the the leaders of the problems of western society, and then it’s it’s everyone else. You know? And then this is a massive issue, and it it has been persistently. And I I actually would suspect that now that Iran is in such a difficult position, we will see the amount of global terrorism die down to some extent because they just don’t have the same level of funding it has had historically.Simone Collins:That would be amazing.Malcolm Collins:Yep. As to the strategy of funding terrorist groups, it’s not always the best strategy. So, essentially, their core opponent is not The United States or Israel. It’s Saudi Arabia. Okay. And Saudi Arabia would typically back the state actors of a country, and Iran would typically back whoever was trying to overthrow them. Typically, because if you’re choosing sides, the person who gets to set the table gets to choose the side that they want, and and you’re typically gonna want the people who already control things. And so that’s who Saudi Arabia is doing business with. And and Saudi Arabia also wanted to do business with people that were less likely to piss off The US. So, again, that’s why Saudi Arabia chose that. whereas with Iran, you know, you’re coming in second, and so you’re backing whoever’s attempting to take over afterwards.Simone Collins:Yeah. I guess.Malcolm Collins:That’s the situation there. And, honestly, big change in geopolitics of what’s what’s happened to Iran, which is really exciting to to to see them hit this hard. And the biggest thing that’s going to come out of the war is Iran attacking a bunch of its former allies because you just don’t come back from that very easily. Okay. That’s that’s that’s not a position they can rebuild a regional power position from.Simone Collins:Do they ever have strong allies, though? I guess Yeah.Malcolm Collins:I mean, like, even Qatar was a really strong ally of Iran, and Iran bombed their desalination plan. I think their biggest oil production no. No. Natural gas production plan. So they went, like, straight for the balls with, like, their best friend in the region. Al Jazeera has always ran cover for Iran. The the reason why Saudi Arabia sorry. Iran and Qatar were such close friends is because they share, the natural gas field that a huge chunk of Saudi I mean, Qatar’s, income comes from. and so they have to work together.Simone Collins:I really am curious to know what’s going on with the attempted well, I mean, he is a terrorist, the man who attempted to kill all these people. Because you don’t I don’t think people like this act in isolation. Even those who have in the past acted technically in isolation have been influenced by or consume materials of, for example, ISIS or other radicalizing terror cells. So something something was at play here. It’s not just a broad Islamic culture that drives someone to attempt to crash a plane like this, and I really wanna know what’s going on. What doMalcolm Collins:you mean a broader no. It is broader Islamic culture that leads somebody to don’t wanna crashSimone Collins:a plane. Just, like, become Muslim and be like, I’m a crash a plane. Yeah.Malcolm Collins:You do. I’m this is this is actually the problem that people think, like,Simone Collins:you a plane not in concordance with someMalcolm Collins:So, Simone, remember how we talked about the Muslim afterlife? Yes. The Muslim afterlife gives specific accordances, specific rewards, and specific set aside status for martyrs. The the the the that is crashing a plane. That’s what this guy thought he was gonna get. That is the the way that the Muslim religion works.Simone Collins:Martyring is not murdering, though. Yeah. It is.Malcolm Collins:Martyring is not pouring gasoline on yourself outside of a mosque. Okay? That’s why Muslims don’t do that. Okay? Murdering is going out and killing innocent people in a way that leads to you dying as well, often innocent people. So it should be warriors. I mean, I guess it’s probably what it was historically, but now it’s children. Right? This is this is where it’s gone. And this has been established as the norm.Speaker 5:So I decided to double check this just to make sure that it wasn’t talking on my butt or anything here. And, yeah, this appears accurate. specifically, if you did something like a Buddhist peaceful protest, this would count as suicide, which is super banned in the Muslim tradition and would lead you feeling the pain of that thing over and over again that would be your heaven. whereas if you’re trying to kill innocent people, that’s that’s okay. That immediately bypasses any punishment you even could face in heaven, and you go straight into the 72 Ahore’s, Sierra Muslim afterlife episode.Malcolm Collins:This isn’t even, like, a extremist Muslim thing. Right? Like, this is there was a case recently where a bunch of leftists online were like, we we don’t we wanna be clear here. Like, when we say from the river to the sea, we don’t mean, you know, take all the Jews out of Israel. What we mean is in Israel, we’re, like, benevolent Palestinians rule, and Jews can operate there as well and blah blah blah blah. And a bunch of the Palestinian leaders came out and were like, that is not what we mean at all. I don’t know where you got this idea. Like, do not speak for us, you Western woman. We we do mean kill all the Jews. That is explicitly what we mean. And and and this is when you have terrorist attacks and stuff like this, you will often see in Muslim majority countries, especially the more conservative ones, people cheering for it, you know, having people’s pictures on, like, sticks and stuff like this of, like, the the attackers doing, like, little parades for them and stuff. This is this is, like, in towns and places like Pakistan and stuff like this. Right? Like, this is in the streets. Right? Like, this is no. This is not some, like, random extremist thing. This is and not just countries we’re at right now at war with. This the threat from many forms of Islam today, not all forms, but I’d say that there is a reasonable takeaway where you can read the Quran and you can get, I need to murder all the non Muslims. And what they’ll do to lie to you about this is they’ll point out lines in the Quran that would seem to point in the other direction without telling you that, actually, if you study Islam, what you would know is later lines in the Quran that trump earlier lines in the Quran. And the problem is is that early on, before Muhammad had consolidated his power, he was all how how great are the Jews? How great are the Christians? All of that. and then later on, he was the Jews and the Christians have rejected my attempts to tell them that I am their messiah, and I am angry at them now. So let’s destroy them all. And, also, he was in, you know, military campaigns and everything like that, writing quite a high. So, like, obviously, he’s gonna take that position.Simone Collins:Well, that’s disturbing. great. I have no I have no comment. IMalcolm Collins:It’s it’s not that there aren’t Muslims, who have no problem with other religious organizations or have no problem, but they’re often soft culture Muslims. Right? Like, they’re, like,Simone Collins:the Muslim that they will deconvert at really high rates, have lower birth rates, etcetera. SoMalcolm Collins:Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They’re pretty much already part of the Western ecosystem. You know? The bad part of the Western ecosystem.Simone Collins:Right.Malcolm Collins:I think this is this is one of those things where, like, I know we have Muslim Muslim fans and stuff like that, but it’s a difficult religion to if you’re practicing it strictly, to not lead to violence against groups around you, which I think it can make allowing large populations of it to consolidate become a a negative externality for most communities, unless they handle them incredibly strictly as is done in pretty much every peaceful month Muslim countries. So peaceful Muslim countries are like, you know, you steal something and your hands get cut off. Right? Like, you you you go out, you cause a menace, you cause a you you know, you put in the meat grinder. Right? Like, that’s that’s the way that they make the system operate, and that’s not the way I think anybody in the West wants things to operate.Simone Collins:I don’t know. We’ll get into that. I have I have I have thoughts on that in another episode we’re gonna do. Alright. Maybe we need to revisit this whole hand cutting off thing. Just a thought.Malcolm Collins:Oh goodness.Simone Collins:We’ll talk about we’ll talk about it later. We’ll talk about it later.Malcolm Collins:Alright. I love you so much.Simone Collins:I’ll leave a a high note just to be like, first, okay. Yikes. Yikes, Muslims. Work it out. But one of our friends who is Jewish posted about this on social media, like, most recently after it came out and was like, diaspora Jews could never I said it before, and I’ll say it again. There’s no population more badass than the Israelis. And I’ve gotta hand it to these guys who took the pop the cockpit and saved this entire flight. That is badass. Yeah. That’s That is incredible.Malcolm Collins:Yes. Well, then it was a a banker CEO too. We he had two daughters on the flight.Simone Collins:Yeah. I mean, look. You have a there’s a reason to fight. there’s a reason to fight when you have kids. Well, a lot of them have military training,Malcolm Collins:or I I think almost all of them have military training.Simone Collins:So I believe so. Right?Malcolm Collins:Yeah. So they would have training on how to handle a situation like thisSimone Collins:as well. I guess for the except for the religious exemption subset of Israel. Right?Malcolm Collins:Which I’m incredibly against. I think Israel should just expel them. They they get rid of them in them or at least remove the exemption. It’s a completely idiotic. It’s it’s completely idiotic and at odds with Israel’s long term future. Well, it served those who trained on this flight quite well. And, yeah, huge hat tip toSimone Collins:them and the pilot. That oh, gosh. I hope the pilot’s okay. Yikes.Speaker 6:So I checked in, and the pilot, for all we know, is doing well. Appears he was stabilized early by a dentist who is on board, who, uh, stopped him from bleeding out very early on in the, uh, the cycle of... In Israeli dentist who is one of the people who helps subdue the attackers.Simone Collins:Thank you for bringing me up to speed. I appreciate it. Crazy. We have to worry about is the furry menace in the skies. When you hearMalcolm Collins:the the plane crash thing that happened, it with good news and the furry menace in the skies.Simone Collins:Yeah. The furry menace remains. The furry menace remains. Cannot be conquered. The Muslims can. Meow. As long as you can. Meow. Meow.Malcolm Collins:Meow. Meow. Love him doing it, like, aggressively. No. No. No. He’s like, this is why you’re still flying or whatever. No.Simone Collins:No. Really going for it. Really leaning in. That’s as it should be. Okay? Some things some things in the skies are still okay. I’m gonna try to fixate on that insteadMalcolm Collins:of thinking about god. Maybe we’llSimone Collins:just knock it onMalcolm Collins:I’m so glad I’m not a pilot, by the way. I just fall right asleep. I can’t deal.Simone Collins:Well, it’s mostly autopilot except for when you need to, you know, be stabbed repeatedly and then save the plane by unlocking the cockpit. Then you gotta work.Malcolm Collins:I mean, a big heavy plane like that in a death spin is just terrifying conceptually. Yes. Yes.Simone Collins:Be safe out there, everyone.Malcolm Collins:Bye. Be safe out there. And remember, these people wanna kill you too. Great. Reals just closer.Simone Collins:Great. Great. Great. Great.Simone Collins:What you doing, girls? Spooky. Spooky. It’s a spooky hive house. I love it. What are you doing in your boat, Titan?Titan Collins:I’m building a castle.Simone Collins:You’re building a castle? What are you doing, Indy?Titan Collins:Numbers are not together, and I also Numbers.Simone Collins:Numbers. I love numbers.Titan Collins:I need cats.Simone Collins:Andy’s a cat. What kind of number two? The number two. You built a beauty. You can go. I’m excited. Do you see the number two, Indy? Do you see it?Titan Collins:Oh, a ghost. Gonna knock this my gosh. A dramatic account of a mid-air incident on a Fly Dubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv where the copilot attacked the pilot, leading to a steep dive and emergency response. Israeli passengers, including a bank CEO and others, helped regain control of the aircraft with assistance from relief pilots, allowing a safe landing in Saudi Arabia. Everyone on board survived the event. The discussion also covers pilot radio traditions, broader security concerns in aviation, and geopolitical topics related to the region. The episode highlights the actions that prevented further harm during the flight.Episode TranscriptMalcolm Collins:Simone, I’m excited to be here with you today. Genuinely excited to be here today because today, there was almost a second nine eleven in which a large seven thirty seven MAX was hijacked. A copilot stabbed the pilot and attempted to kill them. And DidSimone Collins:it or is the pilot okay?Malcolm Collins:The plane had passengers on it, 27 of whom were children. Everyone survived. The pilot survived. The the children all survived. Everyone survived. Everyone’s okay. And the story is wild. Well, not okay. I mean, the guy was stabbed, and he’s in the hospital. It looks like he’s gonna recover.Speaker 10:Angela. Angela. This is the 09/11 of birthday parties.Speaker 11:I’m sorry.Malcolm Collins:And every detail of this story is wackier than the next. For some highlights here, the plane was saved by a Russian and Ukrainian pilot.Simone Collins:What? Wait. Who was not inMalcolm Collins:the cockpit? Who were not in the cockpit. They replaced the pilots who were in the cockpit.Speaker 4:So there has been additional reporting since then that these two may have flown the plane in, but the guy who actually stabilized the plane was one of the Israelis who broke into the cockpit to subdue the guy and was a plumber who learned to fly based on a TV show that he saw.Malcolm Collins:The the guy who ended up being a group of guys, but one of them who we know definitively was involved with beating up and taking out the terrorists Okay. Was a CEO Jewish banker of a of a relatively big bank. I mean, was, like, worse. I was checking about a $150,000,000 in value or something like that. So, like, he was Jew maxing, you know, CEO of a bank. Oh, wow.Simone Collins:Yeah. Okay. Sorry. That didn’t I didn’t it didn’t land with me at first. Oh my gosh. What do we know why this man attempted toMalcolm Collins:Yeah. Because he was a Muslim.Simone Collins:Come on. There’s more behindMalcolm Collins:every Muslim. That is why. I mean, Simone, I think you misunderstand that a lot of Muslims think they have a mandate to kill the Jews.Simone Collins:Was there a manifesto? Was there an organization? Has ISIS claimed responsibility even though they often do that when they’re not actually responsible? Okay.Malcolm Collins:No one has claimed responsibility yet. The guy had been working for the company for only seven months.Simone Collins:Oh.Malcolm Collins:and so we don’t know. The, right now, the claims are that he was Indian of, ethnicity. Oh, boy. Although, you know, I can see why The UAE might want not wanna say if he’s something else, but there’s a lot of Indian Muslims in The UAE. So, you know, very well could have.Simone Collins:What airline was this?Malcolm Collins:so, well, let’s let’s go into it. Yeah. Fly Dubai flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv on the 09/30/2026, a Boeing seven thirty seven MAX carrying about 140 174 passengers. the large majority were Israelis, one hundred and sixty six and twenty seven of whom were children. Oh. Had a mid air attack in the cockpit. After the attack, it it plunged 14,000 to 17,400 feet.Simone Collins:Oh, you’re not feeling on roller coasters when your stomach just goesMalcolm Collins:They did this attack in taking back the plane while the plane is, like, falling out of the sky, and the terrorist is desperately trying to break the the console.Simone Collins:Oh, so that there’s no way to right the plane?Malcolm Collins:So that there’s no way to right the plane. Yeah. And, like, every stage of this is really heroic. So, like, with his last ounce of strength so because after 09:11, they reinforced the cockpit doors.
