It's something we want to avoid and we spend quite a lot of our energy on preventing it from happening. And it sounds counterintuitive to say that relapse is a good thing when it’s basically the opposite of quitting gaming, but it’s not as dangerous as it seems if we really pay attention to the lessons it teaches us and if we get better at noticing the pattern we usually follow that ends up with us giving in to our cravings. Ep 4: How to Stick To a Gaming Fast

The 2 main ideas are to make gaming difficult and invisible. By difficult, I mean increase the distance between you and the games so that it’s not as easily accessible as before. Ep 3: The Best Way to Quit Gaming

Quitting cold turkey is a much better option than limiting your gaming hours, but it might feel overwhelming. Going on a gaming fast is in my opinion the best option - it has all the advantages of quitting cold turkey plus it's more attainable because it has clear begging and end. But it’s your responsibility to make the choices that are aligned with your long-term vision for life. · The mind is a bad decision-maker at the moment.
