Margie Wallis is the owner of Frisco Birth Center in Frisco, TX and was actually OUR MIDWIFE for our second child. She is so amazing and without a doubt called to midwifery. Her story is so inspiring and she has been and continues to be a well of knowledge to us and everyone she meets. Merrick is a wife, mother and all around boss babe. Starting out her journey around 2007 traveling and meeting different creatives, she devised a plan to merge artists and creatives with tech through an app initially called Create Gate. She talks about the ups and downs within her journey, being her own boss and the power of being fully yourself, knowing that if you're meant to do something then no matter how hard you pull away it will never leave you when it is IN you! Today, Merrick is running a team of 14 at Artist Uprising, running her own photography studio (Artist Uprising Studio) as well as her marketing agency (Belmont Creative) while still kicking butt as a mom of two amazing boys and a wife to her husband!
