I went to my kidney doctor and she told me I’m about 100 days away from having my new kidney for an entire year.

That number stopped me.

Because nine months ago, I was learning how to live with a second chance.

Now I’m asking a completely different question:

What am I going to DO with this second chance?

Surviving kidney failure taught me how precious life is.

Having my new kidney for nine months has taught me something else:

You don’t need another person to make you happy. You have to learn how to be alone without being lonely.

But I’m not coming on LIVE just to talk about myself.

We’re turning this into a conversation.
