AAP with Phil and Amy - Juliee Beyt
All About Printmaking with Phil and Amy - Episode 6 - Interview with printmaker Juliee Beyt from Austin Texas. We ran across Juliee at the Facebook art group "Linocut Printmakers" and wanted to profile her and her art work here at AAP. As you can guess, Juliee's main printmaking form is relief, or linocutting, and her imagery includes plants, animals and other visual reference from her home area around Austin Texas. We hope you enjoy our short dialogue with Juliee, and make sure to check out her work at Facebook, Instagram @atelierredbud and Etsy at  https://tinyurl.com/2krsaf5w or https://www.etsy.co/shop/atelierredbud?fbclid=IwAR3pc9iYwea741RGExSEkjyAbuL0xIPWVsaKsfn-BOTrC1sQEiGAn2i3nB8

AAP with Phil and Amy-Stencil
In this episode of All About Printmaking, Phil and Amy discuss the printmaking form of Stencil. The most familiar method of stencil is, of course, serigraphy, or silk-screen. The matrix is formed by creating a stencil onto a mesh fabric which is stretched over a frame of metal or wood. When ink is squeegeed through the fabric onto paper, fabric, metal, or virtually any kind of material the image is printed onto that material. Visit Youtube and watch a video of Phil printing the first color in a multi color serigraph. Screenprinting.com - Website with information and supplies for doing screen printing on tee shirts. In this introductory episode, Phil and Amy present themselves as hosts and outline the basic concept of the show, as well as the plan for how the content will be presented in upcoming episodes.
