「So Joshua took the whole land,

　according to all that the Lord had said to Moses;

　and Joshua gave it as an inheritance to Israel

　according to their divisions by their tribes.

　Then the land rested from war.」　　Amen.

　Joshua conquered the land of Canaan just as God had promised. He subdued the south, fought against the northern coalition forces, and defeated an army as vast as the clouds and mist. Yet this was not Joshua's strength, but the Lord's power. From the moment we believed in Jesus, the Holy Spirit has dwelt within us. As we journey through this world,great battles and guerrilla-like struggles continue, yet the Lord has already secured victory. Let us move forward, trusting in the Lord's promise.
